Great value, more like a hotel than b and b. We were in the basement but it was still all good. Breakfast was great!

Nice hotel and very good service. The rooms though are not well adapted to business travellers.

All of the people working there were incredibly kind, and there's an amazing view from every room, regardless of which direction your room faces.

Our stay was fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with, they helped us set up a tour, pick local restaurants and pubs all the recommendations were spot on. The lounge was great for an afternoon drink and the traditional Scottish breakfast was delicious. Magda helped multiple times and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a place to stay to pick B + B Edinburgh!! More...

We ended up making a last moment booking here after another B&B fell through. The staff was extremely friendly and had the room ready for us immediately. Our room had an amazing view of the castle from the window, a tub big enough that you could almost lay down in it, a very comfortable bed, and a comfortable sitting area. The breakfast was delicious and we were offered fresh homemade blueberry jam that was heavenly. We'll definitely stay here again. More...

Lovely staff, beautiful amenities, nicely designed rooms. However, a good 10-15 min walk from the city centre and over 20 minutes away from the old town.

Lovely staff and great building but double check whether your room is a basement room because they aren't quite as good as the rest

We stayed here in January 2017 and couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a great chat with a lovely staff member originally from Cork. The breakfasts were top notch, plenty of choice and our kids ate everything which is unusual for them. The location is great too, right in the middle of the city but in a quiet area.We will definitely be back.....highly recommended. More...

This is a beautiful place to stay. The breakfast was proper and amazing. The staff was gracious and helpful. We had a very early check-out to make a flight out . The staff helped us with scheduling a taxi and even pack my wife and I a take-away breakfast so that we wouldn't be hungry before our flight. I will always remember this place and hope to stay here every time I visit Edinburgh. More...

The place is beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. The eggs Benedict is an amazing breakfast. I had it both days. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend.
