Wedding venue - personal experience
First mention good facts - ample car parking. Big space, nice decor.
Then NOT good facts - Organised wedding reception in March 22.
Paid Hall hiring deposit in Nov 21 (before 4 months in advance). Owner a typical Indian lady change our venue just (without our consent) before 1 week of the function with the excuse of 'double booking made by her husband and she was not aware of it'. This shatters all our planning and had emotional setback. Not used to such lethargic and unprofessional way of running business in any English owned establishment - but this is INDIAN owner.
PLEASE BE AWARE - the wedding hall on first floor do not have proper kitchen setup means your cook will depend on other kitchens which could be in use while your function on first floor is in progress and your guest will be on mercy for food.
Witnessed another Bangladeshi family in reception area having argument with staff rudely demanding extra charges then signed agreed amount for their function scheduled in next 10 days - they were in pitiful condition too.
DO NOT TRUST OWNER AND MANAGEMENT in BAYLISS HOUSE.THEY ARE DESPERATELY TRYING TO RECOVER LOSS MADE DURING LOCKDOWN PERIOD by HOOK OR CROOK.
It is fair to assume that Good feedback provided here are mostly those Indian organisers who have recently started living in UK since few years and are use to such experience back there.

An okay hotel. It has secure free parking. Rooms are clean and tidy and staff are polite. Didn't eat in the restaurant. Downside is the breakfast it is a continental breakfast would of liked a normal breakfast. Would I stay again maybe.
