I was going through a particularly difficult patch, emotionally recently and deicided to ask for help. I found Karen to be a great listener and gave me time to offload everything. She equipped me with some stratefies to help me move forward. I can honestly say, that within a day or two, I felt like a new person. I will be forever endebted to Karen for her advice and time. Thank you. More...

I'm so happy to see your page (love the rocks!).
My life would be very different (much more miserable!) without all the time that you put into helping me.
I was so, so miserable when I first met you, but spending time with you was something to look forward to every week, and somehow your friendly wisdom and gentle prodding, gradually helped me feel so much better about myself and my life. I'm still not sure how you made it so painless and easy. Your counselling has given me more confidence and excitement about the future than I thought possible. I can't thank you, or sing your praises, highly enough. :) xx

I can't recommend Karen highly enough. I've always been nervous about talking to people but Karen put me at ease immediately with her professional but caring manner and ability to help me look at things from a different standpoint.
Karen has always been willing to work through things at my pace - identifying root issues but also surrounding problems - and working with me on simple steps to move towards resolutions.

Karen is a friendly and empathetic councillor who is also professional and knowledgeable.
The office is a calming space in which to talk, and easy to get to either by car, on foot, or on public transport.
I love that Karen has a therapy dog (in training). Tink is a sweet dog and her presence made it easier for me to open up. It was really relaxing to be able to stroke Tink during my sessions.
The initial session to determine if we would be compatible was really useful, as there was no pressure to commit to anything.
I would highly recommend Karen to anyone.
