First time visit with friends that had been before.The booked table was ready when we arrived, a nice welcome from the staff and drinks orders was taken fasted, ample time was given to look over The menu and place are orders. We've used twice for takeaway. Manager called first time to let us know delivery was running late - it was only 10 mins but call was apriciated. Next time delivery was very quick. Food was really nice both occasions. Giving 4 stars as portions are a little bit on the small side. But its a minor thing they're not tiny or anything, just that I'm greedy when it comes to curry.Update This has become our go to take away. The food is excellent. The food manages to retain a home made feel and avoids that generic feel. It's a wee bit oiley sometimes but not so much as to spoil the meal. I like a curry strong on flavour but I also like heat. The lamb madras delivers. My wife likes a bhuna and she really rates theirs. Give it a try. You'll be impressed. More...

My wife and I have been using this since the owners took over. We've been sticking to the Tandoori tikka chicken. My God. Lovely, succulent chicken and beautifully flavoured.

One of best Indian restaurants in North Glasgow. Excellent food served with good service in comfortable surroundings. The head chef can regularly be found coming out of the kitchen at the end of service to speak with customers.

Located on the site of the former Agra Indian restaurant, the new owners have turned this into a must visit restaurant if you like high quality Indian food. I believe Bawarchi is an Indian word for 'chef' and the restaurant is aptly named. The food is flavoursome, with a generous quantity of different spices, there are none of those bright red dyes you can find in some Indian restaurants. The service is friendly and efficient and the chef makes a point of visiting your table after you have eaten to ensure you are happy with your meal. A nice touch from a lovely individual. More...
