From simple claw-clipping to discussions about end of life options, Dr. G. and Dr. Reynolds have been nothing but forthright, knowledgeable, and compassionate. The doctors take time to inform and listen to concerns...I've never felt rushed; they always ask if I have any more questions or concerns and are more than happy to address those. Bastet has always shown great respect towards me and my pets. They've gone out of their way to make sure my dogs are taken care of, did everything possible when my oldest dog was hit by a truck (he survived), and even helped me with a payment plan when I couldn't afford necessary treatments. It was an emergency and Petco (who we have a plan with) said they were booked so I couldn't bring her in. The minute I called Bastet, the first question they asked was is it an emergency and I said, "yes, my dog had been taken by a coyote right next to me while we were sitting on the patio furniture". I was horrified. They said, "Bring her in immediately." From that time on my dog and I were treated so kindly and compassionately. They spent a lot of time in between examining and treating her, several times sitting down with me, and explaining everything they were doing for her. I was so traumatized by the whole event and they assured me she was going to be fine and they would take care of her and they did. She had 4 bite lacerations on both sides of her chest and is now recovering thanks to Bastet. I will probably never understand why that coyote turned around and brought my dog back to me. I can only think my blood curdling screams may have something to do with it. It was unbelievable!!! I will now be reporting this incident to the California Wildlife Department as well. After being rescued from the sidewalk in front of Pet Co in 2005; we had to put our beloved Nikki down after 14 joy filled years. Very good experience with this vet hospital.Appointment was flexible to my schedule.The ladies on the phone were very nice. They call the day before to confirm and give instructions.I took my cat in for neutering.They were running on time and the place is clean and updated.The surgery was done at the expected time they gave me.My cat is healing well and not groggy and the site looks small and clean.They even gave him a little blanket to take home.Very nice vet.I Recommend this place. My first time at this office was yesterday, the visit went well with super friendly staff. I had to wait a bit, which didn't bother me, but the staff was very apologetic and appreciative of my time. Also, the price for services (upcoming surgery) was very reasonable and less than what I expected. What earned 5 stars though, is the patience and understanding I received when I called today with more questions I thought about AFTER I left the office last night. The call was easily 10 mins long, with questions I should have asked/thought about during my appointment. The rep (Riva? Reba?) answered all my questions knowledgeably and never acted impatient with me. I'm a fan of little "Mom and Pop" places and Bastet's friendliness, patience and obvious love/respect of animals completely reinforced why that's my preference. More...

love this vet and so does my dog she didn't like here other vet she refused to go inside i would have to cary her but now she just walk right in . the doctor and staff are nice and professional . I'm glad I changed here doctor I haven't been disappointed what so ever with this facility yet and i've been going here for 2 years . I wouldn't want any other doctor taking care of my precious 13 year old dog . I took my cocker spaniel here over a year ago. She had been suffering from terrible black skin on her tummy now taking over her whole body. Her eyes had stopped making tears. She stunk to high heaven! She was a mess!!! We had tried multiple other vets to no avail. Many said possibly her food was the cause and gave us list of dog food they had suggested. One said it's just black cocker skin. In a last attempt we tried one last new vet. HOLY COW!!! Dr. MO is the best!!! Asked me to trust him and try for one month a special and very expensive food only vets carry. HE WAS RIGHT!!! It's helped my dog immensely!!! More...

Dr. G is awesome. He's been seeing our baby Sammi since she was a few months old. Sammi is a pitty that has had health problems since day 1. He is the only Vet she loves and isn't afraid to go. Dr. G and his staff are always professional and very attentive. The best thing about Dr. G is he is straight forward and won't charge you for innec unnecessary treatment/procedures.
