Barton Kendal have been acting for us for over 6 years and we have always found them to be responsive and provide an excellent service. We have only ever had one complaining tenant (just below this review) and all other tenants have been very satisfied.There will always be people that cannot be satisfied whatever service they receive even when they leave the garden like a jungle and complain about minor items.We have also used Barton Kendal in the past for selling and received and exceptional service. During some very difficult personal circumstances, I found myself in the position where I had to rent a property with my two children after being a home owner for almost twenty years! The position was divorce! Ironically it was Barton Kendal who were the estate agents we bought our property through. Having experienced Barton Kendal through purchasing a property and as a tenant I have nothing but praise for such a wonderful company.I would particularly like to thank Joanne Barker who helped me find a beautiful property to rent for myself and my two children, at a time when I was extremely stressed. Her support and understanding was second to none and she helped make the transition between leaving my residential property and moving into my new rental property an extremely positive experience. I have dealt with Joanne for 6 years as a landlord and she takes care of the property that I let out.Always very professional and pleasant to deal with and takes her role as a letting agent very seriously. Understands the drivers for both tenant and landlord and ensures she takes a neutral position, careful not to take sides so you can be sure that you will be on the right side of your obligations. The result is you can relax knowing full well that your property is in good hands and well taken care of.
