Barry's Flower Shop

Barry's Flowers produced 100% exactly what I wanted and brought my entire wedding vision to life with their arrangements. Barry's Flower Shop was one of a few vendors on the Tirrell Room vendor list, as part of a wedding package I purchased . I met with all and chose Barry's Flower Shop because Lynne was the most clear with me on what was included in the package and the additional options/costs available to me. Every single step of the way, Lynn walked me through the selection process. I knew exactly what I wanted in my head, I brought her pictures of the different types of flowers and colors I wanted to incorporate into my arrangements and she brought them to life perfectly. I described the type of bouquet I wanted, (not a a pom pom shaped bouquet, but also not a droopy flowing bouquet) and she understood me completely and I got the exact shape I envisioned with calalilys, roses, and hydrangeas. I wanted a smaller thinner style bridesmaid bouquet with fuji mums which I had seen on a pinterest, and knowing full well that pinterest ideas can be difficult to match within a certain price range, but she did it, and she did it better than I could have imagined. I work full time and often had difficultly making it to my bridal consultations during restrictive hours, but Lynne was flexible and worked with me and went the extra mile to try to accommodate my tough scheduled as much as possible, meeting me a little earlier or a little later on certain days. The day of wedding, they delivered all of the bouquets and boutonnieres to me where I was getting ready. They delivered all of the table and ceremony arrangements to the Tirrell Room and every single extra arrangement selection that I made was there, exactly as we discussed it, and worth every penny. From the extra flowers on the gazebo, to the flowers on the isle, to the flowers for my cake table, they really did a five star job. My guests raved about the centerpieces which were just so elegant. I hung onto as many of my extra flowers for as long as I could and filled my house with them until the sad day when they all wilted away. My daughter was married a couple of weeks ago in Whitman at the Holy Ghost church with her reception at the  Pembroke Country Club. Everything was exactly how she envisioned it. My daughter had pictures and talked  with the owner on a few occasions. We were never rushed through our meetings with her and she was so helpful to get the exact look and feel my daughter was looking for. When the flowers arrived my daughter opened the box to her bouquet and started crying. It was exactly what she envisioned.  My mother had walked into the  bridal suite before we came in and said everyone was just in awe of how beautiful the room looked. Lynne at Barry's Flowers is a true craftsman. She did my flowers for my wedding and I Ireceived so many compliments on my bouquet and the table settings. Overall I would give them a 4 1/2 out of 5.   They provided everything we asked for.  They were super flexible with last minute changes to the order.  The flowers came out gorgeous and still days after the bouquets look beautiful.  My one complaint was that they left signs in the mason jars hanging down the aisle.  I understand the ones in the bouquets but they should have removed the other.  It's just about attention to detail for me. I did not know much about Barry's Flowers before I was given their name from the Tirrell room where my wedding reception was being held. Lynn and her team did a FABULOUS job with our centerpieces, church flowers, boutonnieres,  and our bouquets. I wanted a fall theme and they went and bought 20 pumpkins and hand carved each of them for our centerpieces instead of regular glass vases. The centerpieces were exactly how I wanted and our guest kept talking about how nice they were and they were excited to take them home. I don't know a lot about flowers and Lynn was able to take my favorite flower (sunflowers) and make exactly what I envisioned in my head. Barry's did a stunning job on several baskets sent to a family funeral this year. They were just-picked fresh, arranged beautifully and lasted a long time. They were so lovely I hung some to dry to make another arrangement.Others at the funeral were commenting on how Barry''s always does a fantastic job. I am about to place an order for my mothers' birthday flowers. I live in Florida, send flowers often, and will always call Barry's from now on as I was impressed and they seem to have a great reputation in the area. More...
