Barrie Phillipe is outstanding at what they do from hair to beauty treatments , I have Lisa do my nails and always very happy , Pushpa does my eyelash extensions, Iv had these done in several places over the years but hers are fab , never rushed and gave me very good after care on how to maintain them , they also are very reasonable in price. Iv had Beata do my lip fillers , I was nervous but she’s very calm and relaxing and totally professional, this salon has a once a month clinic with her, highly recommended.The salon has a very chilled atmosphere, suitable for all age groups, highly recommend this salon , free WiFi, some parking available and a decent coffee. I have just been in this morning for an all over colour and restyle with Barrie. The colour is a chocolate brown and is absolutely gorgeous, it has really brought my hair back to life. It is so shiny and glossy! The restyle was fantastic, Barrie cut off a good few inches and layered my hair as well as adding a side fringe, it has completely changed my look and I am so happy. I visited this salon to get my hair pinned up for a visit to Buckingham Palace. I am from up north in Consett County Durham. I was made to feel more than welcome along with my Mother in Law. I was so happy with my hair and even though it rained all day at the palace my hair did not budge.

What an amazing salon! I've lived up the road for years and never set foot inside. Then after a bad service elsewhere I finally got to experience the wonder of Barrie Phillipe and his staff. I can not thank you enough for the time you put into rectifying the horror I arrived with! Looks and feels amazing...thank you Lucy can't wait to see you again in a few weeks!! I spent years living up the road from Barrie Phillips salon & having my hair cut & coloured else where. The colour of the salon put me off. It was only when someone recommended Barrie Phillips a couple of years ago I decided to try it out. It's the best hairdressers I've ever been to & didn't go anywhere else after. Now I've moved to the Midlands I have to find another hair dresser. My hairdresser kindly gave me the colour record card to take with me to. Thanks for a great service & warm atmosphere. I'd thoroughly recommend this salon. For now I'm keeping an eye out for another yellow painted salon as a good sign! More...

Had a hair cut and blow dry today, my first visit. Hairdresser Andrea called Andy was very nice and polite and did not annoy me with stupid conversation. So I tried colonic hydro therapy session, I was a bit nervous about getting it done. I had my first session on Friday one week and my next session Friday the next week. While in my first session I was sweating and felt very sick. Louise the nurse was very kind and caring and took everything at my own pace. The reason for me feeling sick and the way I did was because it was removing all the bad toxins. Instantly after my colonic I felt very tired but I also felt quite refreshed. Louise advised me to book in for a second appointment a week later. On my second treatment while having the colonic I didn’t have the same reaction. This time I felt more comfortable. After the treatment I felt more energised and amazing in myself. I also noticed it helps with my IBS and bloating. For those worried about the tube it’s pain free and really small, no discomfort at all. I can’t stress how good I felt after this treatment. Best bit is after I was able to go into the salon after and have my hair and nails done! :-) More...
