I was served a new housing rebate assessment against me by the CRA. I called Barrett and asked them to take me on and assist with navigating the process to dispute as I chose the informal process. Barrett was amazing to deal with throughout the entire lengthy process. At every level they were courteous, professional, timely, thorough, thoughtful and took the time to see this through. Eventually we decided to go to the Tax Court of Canada and the DOJ ruled in my favour prior to a trial. I couldn’t have navigated this without them and really owe them the victory. I found Dale and his team through their office on Eglinton. My corporation was forced to go to Tax Court because the appeals officer didn't understand the case. Simone did an amazing job on my case. After my previous lawyer failed me completely, Simone was the third tax lawyer I consulted with on this issue, and the first one to give me any clarity at all.
