Ben Jaques has sorted out our mortgage renewals for over ten years and always delivered a great deal, and he has this time too. We wouldn't go anywhere else. We were recommended Darren by a friend and we were not disappointed. After trying 2 other mortgage brokers we were close to giving up! Due to some adverse credit from years ago, the other brokers sent us straight to the bad credit lenders with extremely high interest rates and told us that no high street banks would lend to us. However, as soon as we spoke to Darren he said they were wrong and knew exactly which high street banks would lend to us. We then managed to secure a mortgage with a high street lender with a great interest rate. He was always on hand the whole way through with the numerous queries that I had! Melissa was also amazing the whole time the sale was going through, and even chased our solicitors up for us a few times to ensure it was all progressing as it should. When we finally got the keys we had a 'new home' card waiting on our doormat from Barrett mortgages. I honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough and have mentioned them to all friends who are looking for mortgages. It was by chance that i found Beth at Barrett Mortgages after being let down at the last minute by one of the major Estate Agents in house mortgage services. I called various Mortgage Brokers on a Saturday morning as i was heading abroad that afternoon for several months with work. Despite not being due to work that morning, Beth sorted everything on what was a challenging mortgage which meant i could proceed on a really good property. Since then, i have continued to use Barrett Mortgages for 2 other properties and continue to be impressed. I will certainly be using them for any future mortgage requirements. Highly recommended.
