I don't think I can say enough thank you's to Barney and Marco for their help today. I had a list that kept on growing- and Barney is always so gracious and obliging he'll definitely help if he can. Both of them had previously come to our place to install a living room chandelier and bedroom ceiling-mounted fixtures. This time they had patio lights, more light fixtures and a large wall mirror to mount. They also offered to bring my king-size headboard (sitting in the lobby) up to my master bedroom (3rd floor, no elevator!), and proceeded to install it to our bed! Barney even made multiple trips to the nearby hardware store as I needed bulbs, and then bolts. They're very efficient and will always make sure they are gainfully occupied working separately or in coordination. They're both very good-natured and helpful, I'm eternally gratefully to have found them! More...

I have used several handyman services on Yelp, but Barney's is the best by far. Barney gets back to you promptly, he has worked to accommodate my busy full time work schedule. And he was prompt and efficient in getting work done. He has done electrical work, general household repairs, minor plumbing, has taken care of landscape fountains, and even set up the Christmas tree!  Barney fixed a landscape lighting mess that a previous owner had created. Barney, how do I love thee? Hold on, let me turn on my AC with the remote from my couch! Barney was so professional and efficient. Fast, reliable and trustworthy. He came for an estimate and it was so reasonable and he was so knowledgeable, I decided to get part of the job done right there and then. When my family and I moved from Chicago to Berkeley, CA. we didn't know anyone.  We needed a handyman to help us with basics like mounting tv's, hiding the chords in the wall, putting up wall shelves, hanging bigger art work, and etc. I researched on sites such as yelp and Angie's list and he was top rated.  I reached out to Barney and he responded immediately.  Barney came and did all the projects asked and did them well.  He was polite and made me feel comfortable while he was working in the house.  He also was very friendly and welcoming to my toddlers admiring his work.  Overall, we felt Barney was trustworthy and had him come back for more basic work a second time.  And now we are having him come back again!  Barney is what every household needs- someone who can handle the basic maintenance jobs around the house. I submitted a request for Barney's Handyman Services to fix a couple of maintenance issues and he delivered quality services in which I greatly appreciated.  I like the fact that when he was running a few minutes late, he still called to advise me which is a major plus on the customer service side.  When he arrived he offered a genuine smile and greeting. We actually had great conversation as he was working which was quite refreshing.  As a matter of fact, our conversation while doing is work did not slow him down.  He completed both task I asked him to fix with a bit of insight as to what the problems were and possible solutions if problems should arise again in the future.  Thanks Barney!  I appreciate your work ethics, your customer service, and honesty.  I will definitely be using your services again!
