Excellent kennels and rescue. I have adopted both my dogs from BAK and leave my dogs there every time I go away. All I can add is that I wouldn't trust any other kennel to board my dogs who to me are the most precious thing in the world. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and kind. In answer to Keith French review. This is pure sour grapes. Keith used to work there and has an axe to grind with the owner. Whilst Keith was there he was responsible for body dropping his own dog in a field. For forcing 2 small terrified puppies into a bath and holding them there. I know this cos they were my pups and I will never forgive him for his treatment of these 2 who were 4 months old and frightened. I am an international rescue which uses Barn Owl and have been there and seen the dogs and how they are treated. Keith's review is packed with lies and as he now works for a competitor he is trying to trash barn owl reputation. Keith left barn owl and went to work for another kennel which he has since left (2 dogs died whilst he was there although I am not saying he was responsible) and now is trying to take business from barn owl to his new employer who I believe he is also causing problems for.If you have any doubts about Barn owl care or dedication pop along and see for yourself . I can assure you they are 1st class and the one bad review from a disgruntled ex employer won't affect them. To the management and staff at Barn owl. My 3 dogs love coming here. The staff are knowledgeable and caring and my dogs greet them like family. Would recommend them and my dogs wont be going anywhere else

Genuine caring and knowledgeable staff all my dogs come here and have done for many years I like that they are fed top grade food like at home and get plenty of exercise they all enjoy their stay here and I have peace of mind

I was aware of how these kennels support different Rescues. When I arrived to take a dog into our Rescue I was really impressed. The front office is light bright and very well equipped with very good items and good quality food. I have worked alongside Barn Owl in a professional capacity (let me make clear this was not in a way where either party gained financially as we both serviced the same 3rd party) and can honestly they are the most dedicated, passionate people who provide great care and attention to the animals in their care. As a dog owner I have always been of the opinion that I would never leave mine in kennels, but I really would leave mine here without any worries. Been a real pleasure to work with Jo, Dave and the staff there. It's worth a visit just to meet "Dog" the resident cat, who's quite simply the coolest cat ever! More...
