Our old guy grew up on the beach in Florida. Due to a lot of orthopedic issues, he’s not able to participate in any of the dog park ponds we have found over the years out here. Barley’s facility isn’t just a dog pool and daycare. It’s a wonderful, safe and friendly place to let our big guy feel like a kid for a little while. I cannot recommend Barley’s enough. GO HERE -- this place is awesome!! My dogs would play in the pool for hours if they could. The owners genuinely care about every dog that walks in the door. Life jackets, floating toys, warm clean towels, and even a blow dryer are provided. The location is right off the freeway, and the hours are convenient. This is by far the best doggie day care we've ever seen! We drive 45 minutes just to bring our pup for some play time with friends at least once a week. The staff is beyond amazing! They've been able to help our puppy, who was terrified of water, to be out their swimming in the pool her friends. They care for our pets just like we do! More...

This was my first time at Barley's and I had the best time... can't wait to go back. The facility was just amazing. So clean and well run. Great staff! Easy access and plenty of parking. What's not to love? I volunteer walking homeless dogs at Salt Lake County Animals Services and visited Barley's with three of our long term residents. It was a much needed break and they enjoyed the generosity of Barley's and some time in their pool. You gotta love an organization that gives back to the less fortunate members of our community! I tell you our dogs benefitted so much for their time there. It was great! Teddy is Barleys crazy. He loves his people there, he gives them smoochy eyes. They play with him, swim him, hike him, and love him. They groom him and are concerned for his health and wellbeing. My senior dog, Charlie, had discovered his new favorite activity -- swimming at Barley's! His arthritis makes it tough for him to run, but he loves the pool and all the interaction with the other dogs.

Our Golden Retriever Maddox is crazy about Barley's! We have loved the trainers and classes, doggy day care, and recently, the pool. The trainers got him comfortable with the water so quickly and we feel that all the staff genuinely love our dog and give him the best care. The facility is clean, and we found great comfort that they behavior test dogs and they all have to have shots before they can be at day care or the other activities. We love their pool for doggies! The swim lesson for our little Corgi, Luna, helped her so much. She now gets into the pool by herself and isn't afraid to go swimming. Highly recommended for dogs that are timid of the water or that you want to help gain confidence in their swimming abilities.

They also have a daycare and other services as well i'm sure we will use someday.

We even held our Halloween party here for the Utah Corgi's Group and it was perfect. Thanks guys! More...

Barley's is amazing! The staff are all excellent caring professionals and the facility is perfect for our active little girl Daisy. Rarely has Daisy come home tired from day-care previously but since moving to Barley's she is kept busy and can barely keep her head up on the drive home. Swimming has become Daisy's #1 obsession and she swims every day at Barley's. The pool is perfect for Daisy, leaping from the sides and paddling around in search of balls bigger than her. Numbers of dogs are kept both in day-care and the pool to perfectly manageable numbers. Mike and Heather the owners have done a superb job with providing the perfect environment for our "fur kid" Daisy and we cannot recommend highly enough how wonderful this facility is. More...

Barley's is the perfect place for your furry child. They are all so loving and really care for the dogs. We love taking our sweet Jasper there. He loves day care and loves playing in the kiddie pool and sprinklers. He always comes home tired as can be from all the fun he has. We started taking our yellow lab for reserved swim sessions as a part of his recovery plan from a herniated disc. They were so great with him & it's been amazing to watch how much the 15 minute swim sessions have helped make him stronger! We are so thankful to have a clean & wonderful place to take him swimming.

We also started taking our other dog, a lab/hound mix, to daycare & can't imagine going anywhere else! I love that they don't ever allow more than 25 dogs per day and the pups are never crated. Even though there aren't any web cams, we regularly get photos sent to us via text & see his picture pop up on facebook.

Friendly staff; we've taken two of our dogs here for swimming lessons. The indoor pool is heated so you can come any time of year. They have doggie life-vests on hand for newbie swimmers as well as towels and a wash station for after your swim (including a blow dryer for your pup!)Other notes:- There are pool toys available- Pup parents are not allowed in the pool itself (just on the awning around it)- You will get wet from the dog play- There is a ramp into the pool to help with getting in and out, but jumping is totally allowed!I wish this was closer to my house, because I'd come all the time! I've been taking my uber energetic labradoodle to Barley's for over a year and I have been delighted with their service. He's not just learned to swim, but he enjoys it! We are so lucky to have this amazing indoor dog pool in Holladay! They have been so patient teaching my puppy to swim and my senior dog loved the pool when he had arthritis.

Ten stars! This is my dogs favorite place in the world. She can barely contain herself once she realizes we're going to Barleys! We only do swimming, but going consistently has helped create positive habits in addition to her regular training. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. I love going somewhere that they both know and love my dog. I recommend Barleys to everyone I know with a dog!The pool is clean and well-filtered. I often will see employees cleaning as my dog swims. They provide towels so I can dry her off and community toys they can play with.They do an assisted swim the first time to help your dog feel comfortable in the water and make sure they understand how to get out. Leslie did ours and she was great! She told me about the filtration system, etc. We ended up getting one of the unlimited swim packages, and we definitely are getting an excellent deal! More...
