As an observer of this "training", we struggle to even give it one star. We ran into this trainer at the dog pub in Colorado Springs where we witnessed him "training" a pet owner intoxicated as well as behaving in an unprofessional manner. He literally watched this owners dog attack 15 or more dogs and encouraged the owner to do nothing about it because it "was the way dogs interact" he also then drunkenly reprimanded each and every owner in the place for removing their dogs from the hostile situation his dog in training created. He bullied each and every one of us by telling us how wrong WE were for that dog attacking ours when they literally were minding their own business. He then had the audacity to tell all of us to consider his training company instead of our own. He got himself and his trainee removed from the pub and placed on the dent entry list after it attacked and drew blood on another innocent dog for one final time. More...

We had so much success working with John! Before hiring him I could not walk her on a leash hardly at all, she would pull and yank and every time I would have blisters on my hands, if I walked her with my kids it would be even worse. After one session she was walking amazingly! And now after 3 I feel confident we can take her anywhere with the children and she will listen, heel, and relax. We even took her with us to the carnival last week and she did great! I HIGHLY recommend Bark for Help! More...

As and observer, not a client, I was so impressed with the obedience and calm that I noticed in his dog right away!

Q&As

I love seeing the bond and the amount of respect both the client, and their canine have for each other after I work with them.

My canine counterpart Axl. Axl, being a German Shepherd, was labeled "dangerous" just because of his breed, which I knew was not true. I made it my mission to become more knowledgeable about the canine species so that I may pass on the information I learned to help others.

I believe that a balanced life is a happy life not only for people but for their pets as well. Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing, which is why our lives need balance. My method of training provides the stabilization that my clients are seeking, but have trouble achieving on their own. I take pride in developing close-working relationships to achieve a healthy and happy environment for every pet owner and their companions.

Services

$1230 | Includes a free group session

A one-week, private boarding, and training program designed to teach your companion advanced obedience while solving common behavior problems, such as housebreaking, jumping, running away, counter surfing, pulling on the leash, growling at people or dogs, and more. To see if this is the right program for you, just call or email and we'll talk about your dog training problems!

You'll be surprised how easily many problems can be solved when you know the right “dog trainer tricks and secrets” to apply.

$3,120 | Includes three weeks of boarding and intensive training

We keep it fun, but we'll have time to train your dog to come when called off leash so you can enjoy hiking and going places with your dog. Also includes sit and down stays so your dog can hold still at important moments. The “place” command teaches your dog to stay on his bed while you answer the door or change the baby, super handy for busy families who need the dog to stay in bed for a few critical moments.

Plus we teach excellence in leash manners so you'll have the best dog in the neighborhood when you go for a walk! Other problems that we'll focus on include: barking, housebreaking, jumping, counter surfing, digging and much more.
