The cleanliness and professionalism of Bark Avenue are quite impressive! More importantly, every employee there from the owner to the groomers doted over my two little fur babies showing them love and nurturing. Bark Avenue is an amazing place. When I walked into Bark Ave. I said to myself, Wow, this place is super clean and I was quickly greeted by staff and my furry Son Bennie was instantly treated like a rock star. The groomer did an amazing job on my little Bennie. Bennie is a 15 month young Shih-Tzu. This was my first visit to Bark Avenue and I couldn't be more happy. The staff was courteous, efficient and polite. The owner Amy, really cares about the treatment of your pet and her business is super clean, roomy and comfortable. This is by far the best place in Deland to get your pet groomed. Amy, the owner, is a real professional, the place is extremely clean, beautiful and very professionally run. All staff members are very skilled and polite. I was looking for the grooming place that can take care of my 4 Schnauzers with very special needs. All of them are old and 2 are handicapped. It is not easy to find a place that takes care of such pets but I found it ....it is Bark Avenue. They groom my kids beautifully, with high care and love and they accommodate every special need my kids have. If there would be 10 stars rating I would give them 11 ! More...

If there were 10 stars I would give Bark Avenue all of them. My wooly haired Australian Labradoodle, Lewis, is not an easy costumer. When he smiles, he mats, but his biggest challenge (his coat) is also his best feature. Amy Neiman and the groomers at Bark Avenue have worked so patiently with Lewis and with me to come up with a plan that keeps him looking his best and I can afford. He goes every other week to Amy. I took my 6.5mo old puppy here today for the first time and was really impressed with the friendliness and cleanliness of the shop. I really liked the size of the shop as well. I asked for a bath, nail trim and ear clean and got all that plus her nails painted, "earings" and a Christmas collar...none of which I asked for. I took my baby Zoee for her first hair cut.. She is 5 years old. She is a long hair Shih Tuz. I was very nervous about doing this but had been at Bark Avenue a couple of times before and always did a great job! So I showed them a few pictures of how I wanted to look like.. The groomers and staff at Bark Avenue are excellent. The atmosphere of the shop is fun, clean, and professional. I always feel comfortable leaving my very energetic Yorkie with them and when I pick her up she is happy and looks picture perfect.
