Love this place. Pocky, tea or water before and after your appointment. They are thoughtful and decently priced. They are not RMTs however so no benefits hence the 4 stars.

Went today for a 90 min deep tissue massage with Yuki & it was excellent! The space is super clean & very calming! The team is very professional. My therapist Yuki was right on time & was super nice! The music in the therapy room is super relaxing & makes you feel like your not in the heart of downtown. The massage was really good & the price was surprisingly low! I only paid 109$ for 90 mins. They could definitely charge more for the service you get! You will definitely come back! Oh and you get a delicious ginger tea as well as pocky chocolate sticks! I have had inconsistent experiences. And this was a better one! Although Haruko's shoulder massage was too "light", her foot massage was unbelievable. That experience is what reflexology was all about! She hit every appropriate touch point on my foot with firm pressure. The only feedback is the confirmation process. I booked late the afternoon before and later that night (between 7pm and 8pm), there were 3 phone calls from them (I was at a movie) with no voice mails. We had a great experience. They were able to accommodate the 5 of us for foot reflexology and deep tissue massage. The place was very clean, the people were friendly and effective in easing our sore muscles, and the ginger tea was a great finish to an already amazing experience. We will gladly return.

This place costs a few dollars more than another place I considered, but my wife and I were swayed by the positive reviews of the atmosphere. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is incredibly soothing. Also, the courteous service and little extras make you feel like a pampered guest. My therapist was Melissa. She was warm, friendly, and focused, and has a penetrative touch. My neck is a bit sore from the intensity of her pressure points during the 15 min neck/shoulder massage, but it is also very limber now. I didn't say anything at the time because I thought it was a good pain. I loved the deep pressure massage I received on my feet, and I felt great walking around town later on. That said, my massage was roughly eight hours ago, and right now my toes feel like they were burned. I enjoyed her deep touch, but perhaps I should have asked for a little less pressure. We were in Vancouver for our mini-honeymoon and absolutely love foot massages. Barefoot Oasis did not disappoint! We received excellent, professional massages, and the spa setting, complete with green tea and cozy chairs felt relaxing and luxurious. So glad we came!

I have come here quite a few times since September 2018 (either by myself or with my boyfriend). I've had massages from various masseuses there but by far my favourites over the last year have to be Karlie and Yuki. Today I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Karlie and she is so good. She is also so knowledgable and caring. I swear this is the first massage I've ever had where I was on the verge of falling asleep (because I was so relaxed!)Of course if Karlie or Yuki aren't available on days when I want a massage they have other staff members there and you could always see one of them (if appointments are available) and they are all so friendly. I pretty much fall asleep every time I come. I live in the neighborhood and love that I can pop in whenever want to treat myself. They have really accessible hours and lots of difference services. For the price point, great relaxing environment (no therapists talking to each other during your massages :) ). Also enjoy the second treat upon leaving...Pocky. This place is awesome! Came in with my fiance early on a Sunday morning and it was so quiet and peaceful. We got to choose our chairs because there was no one else there so we chose the chairs away from the window. **Updating my review on 7.4.19**The spa manager reached out to me, upon reading my review here, and apologized for the discrepancy in the pricing. (Note: I've always said, I really think it speaks volumes of any company when the management monitors their Yelp reviews and uses customer comments and feedback as a tool to learn and grow and improve. I had insane leg pain & foot pain to the point where I couldn’t walk anymore. We googled the nearest reflexology and Barefoot Oasis came up (with glowing reviews), so we went. This was one of THE BEST spa experiences I’ve ever had. It was so relaxing, accommodating and overall comfortable. They got us in on a walk in and I was so grateful for how much pain I was in. Very nice, relaxing experience, soothing and a pleasant pause in the normal hectic pace of life. I could see, if I allowed myself, taking a very good nap. Booked an hr and a half long Swedish couples massage with my sister and I during our visit in Vanncouver. We had Vaia and Iryna who were both wonderful and attentive. We took the skytrain and the place was easy to find. Upon entering, the place was quiet with peaceful music playing. Prior to the massage, Vaia and Iryna asked if we had any areas to focus on and what type of oil we preferred. During the massage, they made sure we were comfortable the entire time.
