This place is overlooked i went in and immediately received help and guidance. Erika knows her stuff, the girls where very helpful and gave me options versus the other places i had gone to nearby. she was very attentive to my needs and is working with me on custom making the dress to my liking even though it is gorgeous as is but the back didn't fit so i have to have that custom made. the pricing is reasonable and i fell in love with the dress thank you so much for your help.!! Went with my daughter to find a prom dress after having been to 6 stores already with no luck **insert major frustration** But as soon as we walked in I knew this would be our last stop. 5 STARS HANDS DOWN. I recently had a wedding dress emergency in which the vintage dress I had bought from another store and had fitted to me was ruined by a dry cleaners a few days before the wedding. I needed a new dress that night in order for our seamstress to have barely enough time to alter it. We drove all over town, but everywhere else was closed for the weekend.This boutique stayed open late, came in hours early the next morning and gave us a discount. They're selection of ready to purchase dresses was large, reasonably priced, and had plenty of variety! The woman that helped us was so sweet and understanding of the awful situation and was on top of her game. She knew when to make suggestions and when to give us space. She is has the most elegant dresses and a wide variety in inventory! Barbie's Boutique is a hidden gem! You can find the best selection without having to drive to Tampa or Miami! It is the cutest boutique in Sarasota. Erika was very patient and understanding when dealing with a very anxious bride to be.
