Barbara is a true gem. Not just as a photographer but as a person. She went above and beyond any expectation we had of a wedding photographer and made sure she was exceptionally prepared for the day. Her unique style of capturing moments has allowed us to relive our day through a magical lens. Her cropping and editing of the photos makes each one worthy of being part of an art exhibition. She completely understood the vibe of our wedding and has perfectly documented all the different emotions that went with it. Her 'can do' attitude made her a delight to work with and her talent speaks for itself. When we engaged Barbara to shoot a series of photos of our daughter at 10 weeks it became apparent very quickly that, in addition to being a creative and capable photographer, she has extensive experience in dealing with children. Barbara has such artistic eyes to shoot many wonderful photos. She did our wedding photos in France and they were lovely! She approaches in the interesting angles and perspectives that one would normally miss out . Moreover she knows how to make the models relaxed. (Especially when I was a bit nervous before the wedding.)

She would also be very flexible who would kindly respond to your request in what sort of photo you would like.

I recommend Barbara to capture any type of your special occasions in life!

We are so delighted with our wedding photographs from Barbara. She is tiny and you barely notice her on the day... but somehow she captures everything. A massive thank you to Barbara for taking the amazing photos of our civil partnership at Greenwich Town Hall in September.

From the first skype call to get to know each other a little bit, to meeting her on the day of our ceremony and then the follow up afterwards, communication and interaction was relaxed and easy.

The photos are beautiful - Barbara was able to capture the joy of our event and create us an incredible suite of images that are just what we were looking for.

Barbara photographed our winter wedding in February 2017 in London (at the Union Chapel and the Amadeus). We knew from what we’d seen on her website that our photographs would be unique but we were still blown away by the result. Barbara has real skill for capturing moments in low light conditions and her approach and perspective are inspired. Ahead of our wedding, Barbara found some wonderful locations for our portraits after the ceremony and she made the portraits fun and relaxed on the day. Many of our friends said that they didn’t notice her taking photos at the reception – and it showed in the shots of them – everyone looked very natural and unaware of the camera. When we first planned to get married, a photographer wasn’t on the list as we didn’t want intrusive cheesy pictures so we thought we’d go without. Having recently got married over in Japan, we were planning a celebration for friends and family that couldn't make it over there. We found the venue and needed a photographer. We chose Barbara as we were looking for someone who would be excited to photograph a same sex wedding and who had the style we thought would suit our day. She was fantastic from start to finish, communication was fantastic (even when ours wasn't due to Skype malfunctions!) and she really spent the time to find out as much as she could about us and how the we wanted the day to go.

On the day she was prompt and quickly got to work, capturing the ceremony perfectly. She managed to take beautiful pictures of all of our guests, making time for silly staged photos as well as documenting the day as it unfolded.
