Barbara did a very nice job - thoughtful, clear, and sound advice on the wall colors for our downstairs. She was prompt, responsive and happy to provide detailed follow through. She demonstrated a wealth of knowledge about color and paint, and was a nice person to interact with. Barbara provided advice that matched our tastes, but also injected helpful ideas we hadn't considered (unlike other designers I've worked who were either too wishy-washy or too pushy). Â She provides a premium service at premium pricing; the cost will limit how frequently I can use her services, but she certainly provided excellent color advice. What do you love most about your job?
Working with each client personally to help them achieve their goals whether it be for a small space in a home, an entire architectural development, or a business identity. I enjoy using my own artistic inspirations and skills on behalf of the client.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Interaction with a variety of clients and the freedom to work in my own way within my own time structure.
Why should our clients choose you?
Personal attention, communication skills, an artistic vision and the skill to apply it in various situations. Clients have told me that working with me has helped them define their own aesthetics and abilities. That is fine with me. Freedom is a good thing, and I enjoy being a facilitator in helping clients develop their own perceptions while they enjoy working with me as a designer and consultant.
