I probably wouldn't go here any time except happy hour, but the happy hour deal is really fantastic. They've got a great beer selection and the atmosphere is really cool.

A bit pricey bit the food was pretty darn good. Bring your climbing shoes as everything is a good hike up 2 flights if stairs, OR you could take the elevator bit where is the fun in that? Service was spectacular and fast. I would recommend the rooftop bar. More...

The fries with pork belly is so good. Good place for drinks as they are delicious as well. We also got a burger that was really good. Nice spot. Will be back in the spring for sure. This just might be my new hangout spot for summer 2020..... More...

Went for lunch with a friend. I had the tacos the 717 with steak and the one with the blackened mahi. They both are decent for a quick bite. My friend had the Gouda short ribs that was really tasty. More...

A pretty place to go to to get a drink. I loved the rooftop bar, but there was no space when we went, so we had to go sit at the bar in another floor. If I wasn't so tired, I would have drank at the rooftop standing. The service was great and everyone there was super friendly. The food menu was extensive and there was a lot to pick from. If you are looking for a cute and nice bar to go to if you are near Chinatown, I would highly recommend this place! More...

Go up to the roof and get some G&T on tap, dangerously delicious. Plus they've got heaters on on the cold weather and are dishing out hot cider drinks

I came to wait here at the bar on the 3rd floor. It was very dark and crowded. The drinks were kind of pricey. It was loud. You have to walk up and down a lot of steps that feel like a fire escape. More...

Love this bar! The food was amazing drinks are affordable.. the only reason why I gave it a 4 star was because on the roof the chairs and tables are really old looking and the floor boards are loose it feel like you might fall through the floors. The food is a little pricey for what you get but it's still really good. More...

Nice little trendy place across from the arena. They have a walk up taco/burrito window on the first floor. Restaurant style dinning on the second floor. A bar on the third floor and a roof top bar on the roof. The decor is industrial meets old fashioned. Aesthetically it's a really cool place. More...

Randomly wondered into bar deco on a Wednesday and was pleasantly surprised. It was early before a group arrived who had the rooftop tables reserved at a certain hour but what I loved is that nobody from the staff pressed you about moving! The signage was posted but they continued to serve drinks and allow seating! I thought that was awesome! The Mac n cheese was amazing and my cocktail was made to perfection! I would definitely return More...

First and foremost $40/bottomless and entree = say less. My group and I were dining here for a birthday brunch so the venue is very accommodating for large parties. The menu looked delicious, a nice variety in my opinion. We each tried something different. I personally tried the steak quesadillas. The tortilla was certainly cooked in butter because it was deliciously flavorful. They left the champagne bottles at the table after the first round of mimosas. I thought that was a nice touch to keep our glasses topped off when we needed it.The only hiccup was our waiter wasn't on it like we imagined. We had to ask a few times for things more than once. To his credit he had a three large parties upstairs but we left pleased and full. Will return again More...

I visited Bar Deco for a birthday brunch on a Saturday. The venue consists of multiple floors and there were two other large parties on the 3rd floor with us. We ordered the funnel cake fries and beignets to start. The funnel cake fries were tasty and sweet, but the beignets were a little over cooked. The brunch deal is $40 for an entree and bottomless before gratuity and tax. The mimosas were good, but the bellinis had a syrup like aftertaste. I ordered the brunch burger for my entree. It was delicious and the avocado and fried egg really set it apart. The burger came with home fries that were perfectly crisp and tasted of old bay. The best part is that the bill pay for a party of 12 was made easy for us. I would definitely return. More...

Went there for an HH with my colleagues and enjoyed the rooftop ambiance. It gets crowded fast because it's not a huge space, but definitely a good vibe on a dinner evening in the district. Good was great and everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks. More...

I went to an event here that had a taco bar so this review is more of an examination into what hosting an event is like here. We were on the second floor and had maybe around 60 people. I wouldn't recommend that particular layout. The rooftop is prettier and easier to talk in. The whole vibe of the place is very "great gatsby" esq. I think the place is better suited for a group of around 30 and it would have been fine. The taco bar was nothing exceptional, but it did have a solid variety of toppings to chose from. I did not try one of the drinks, but they were extremely aesthetically pleasing and very 1920s romance. Overall, I do think it's a neat event space and it is easily accessible by metro. I do not recommend parking. More...

In a city that has no shortage of rooftop or patio bars, Bar Deco is pretty standard. I visited for happy hour to grab a drink before dinner - their options were solid and pretty expected for DC prices ($6 rail drinks, $6 house wines and select drafts, and some specialty cocktails for $8 and up). I was a little disappointed by my drink - a rosé G&T (one of the specialty cocktails) - I honestly couldn't taste anything beyond the rosé, and even that was very watered down. However, it was a solid happy hour with no long wait - even the rooftop wasn't unreasonably crowded for 5:45 on a wednesday. I wouldn't mind coming back - would definitely get a different drink next time. More...

Fun happy hour rooftop spot! Bar Deco has 3 floors with indoor seating on the 2nd floor and rooftop on the 3rd, it has great happy hour deals with $8 cocktails and a few dollars off apps from 3-7pmTruffle Fries with Bacon (5/5) - The crispy curled potato wedges hit the spot! They come with bacon, easy to request without. Roasted Veggie Taco (5/5) - Compact and overflowing with sweet potatoes, greens, black bean puree, caramelized onion, scallions, and topped with spicy red pepper sauce and cheese. Bursting with flavor in every bite! Margherita Flatbread (3/5) - Bland and boring. I was the flatbread was grilled and there was fresh slices of mozzarella cheese and pesto. $8 Cocktails (4/5) - Of the 3 cocktails, I've ordered here - the G&T Rose was my favorite. The Vodka Collins is too sugary sweet, while the Rose Spritz feel flat. Wish it was more bubbly! Don't expect craft cocktails, you're paying for the outdoor space. Come here early around 4:30pm to grab a table on the rooftop, it gets pretty crowded with only a few high top tables with 4 person seating. Good for small groups or be prepared to stand! One of my favorite outdoor happy hour spots around Chinatown. The food is much better at Bar Deco than the rooftop at Crimson and the crowd is less pretentious than Dirty Habit. More...
