Bar 13! An Absolute Fun Party Space that truly sets the mood for whatever type of venue is going on! Both times that I stopped through were for HouzeMuzik Parties--And My Immediate Favorite Thing About This Multi-Level Space Is The Lighting--Which Is To Live For, Secondly The Always Shiny Hardwood Floors, Intimate Seating, And The Actual BarSpace Itself that present a myriad of Exotic Libation Options!

Nice spot located in the union square area. Ladies if you are wearing heels or a short dress. I would think about wearing pants due to the fact that you have to take the stairs up to the floors. I had a couple issues with Bar 13, first they checked our id's but never searched us or looked in my purse, secondly after we sat down and got situated a guy who works there came to us and told us that there's a $10 fee for men. They should have given us a pass since no one mentioned that at the door and plus there wasn't anyone at the door to collect money. My second issue is that they allow people to smoke all sorts of paraphernalia inside. That dampened my mood, my eyes were burning, I was getting sleepy, I couldn't wait to leave and get some fresh air. My third issue, cash only at the bar on Sundays.The djs played well. There were a lot of older gentlemen there who thought they were in their 20's dressing like them with their pants hanging down with the baggy clothing and long chains hanging from their necks. People were dressed in their every day entire so there's really no effort being put into their clothing to come out to Bar 13.It will be a while before I return to Bar 13, over all it was cool to just go out and shake a leg. Bar 13 isn’t a bad place to go. Around 10pm I went to their salsa section, and it was free for ladies. You have to pay after 12AM for ladies. The salsa section was super fun, and then me and my friend went to their hip hop section around 12AM, and we each had to pay $20 to get in. The hip hop section was not lit in the beginning, and then as the night progressed it was very fun. The drinks are a bit expensive. I bought one drink, and paid $30, and that’s including a $5 tip.
