Gerald, principal/owner, has done work for us over the past 10 years. His estimates are fair. His work is excellent. He comes when promised. Baltic Home Improvement did a stellar job with working with in some tight constraints, and deadlines. The job they did came out exactly as we were hoping and they also were able to work around our daily work hours.

They completed the work about 4 months ago now, but we're so happy with the upgrades that I had to come write this review.

We had our 80's style kitchen completed renovated / updated to very contemporary style including putting in a brick accent wall. Baltic Home Improvement did an amazing job bringing our vision to light. We were provided a very fair estimate upfront as well as a timeframe of when the job would be completed, which they adhered to. Not only was the job completed precisely as I envisioned, but along the way Baltic made recommendations as to what would work best and be most cost effective. We absolutely love the final product!! Baltic Home Improvement recently did a great job completing some fence repairs for me. I only wanted some top rails and gates replaced, not the entire fence. Also, my neighbor's snowplowing had broken a horizontal support. So, Gerald and I talked about all of these little items that needed to be repaired. He was very patient with me as I refined the job through emails and he visited the site to assess the costs. We had phone discussions about pine versus cedar and then white cedar versus red cedar. All was done in a very professional way. I was also very specific about wanting the gates to match the existing look and as you can see in the picture, Baltic matched it. We were recommended to BHI by a friend who had used them for medium-sized home projects. They were everything promised and more: my biggest frustration with contractors is the frequent mismatch of expectations and realities on things like start-end times, materials, costs. Gerald does an excellent job, very hard working, creative with ways to fix problems easily and less expensively, and overall does an excellent job. He's quite professional and returns call promptly, plus does the work he promises in the specified timeframe. He has done multiple projects for us over several years, including painting the house, redoing decayed wood on porch, mending a fence, and once came urgently on a Saturday for a ruined ceiling (water damage). We found this company online, and next day when he came over we were so impressed about his ideas. He even suggested to change a window location to open better view from our bedroom. At first we hired him to paint one side of our house that had some paint pealing off and he did great job. We had many painters before but none of them did such a nice job as he did and he charged us much less then other contractors where asking for it. Later he did many other things around our house, he put new fence, replaced our old wooden gutters and now we have beautiful hardwood floors.We are 100% satisfied and just want to thank you Gerald.
