Balloon artworks created a beautiful display within the foyer of the centre, in partnership with the Heads Up for Callum campaign to raise awareness for the campaign.
The display looked stunning, and all the staff gave great feedback, saying how much they and customers loved it, and how great it looked.

The balloon models Melanie creates are fantastic. We booked her for 2 hours balloon twisting for a small birthday party for our 9 year old daughter, who just loved the balloon animals and characters Melanie made.
In fact, all the kids did (and the adults too!) It made the party really special and got everyone involved really quickly.
Melanie made balloon hats and balloon jewellery and lots of really cool balloon stuff, which everyone loved. She was friendly to deal with and really professional.
I cannot recommend Melanie and Balloon Artworks highly enough. If you are looking for party ideas for kids and someone to twist balloons for a children's birthday party in the Chesterfield area or beyond, I would definitely recommend you to contact Melanie.

What do you love most about your job?
The excitement of creating a unique balloon art installation or balloon delivery piece for my clients. I love working with new themes and colour schemes to evoke the mood or atmosphere my clients wants for their special event, whether that's a milestone birthday celebration for an adult, a themed children's party, a wedding reception or a corporate event. Each event and celebration is different and I always try to ensure that each installation or delivery piece I create is unique.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My creativity needed an outlet and I love working with the large canvas that events and celebrations provide.
Why should our clients choose you?
We specialize in creating high-end balloon art and one-off designs for our clients. Our mantra is that if we can imagine it, then we can make it!
We like to come up with designs that are a bit different and, usually, something our clients haven't seen before.
We spend time talking to our clients to find out as much as possible about your plans and ideas so that we understand the impact you want to achieve, whether that's fun and quirky, or elegant and sophisticated. It's also very important for us to have an understanding of the venue space you want to decorate. So whether that's a function room at a venue, or a room in your own home, it's important for us to understand the constraints and possibilities of what we can deliver for you within space.

Our work takes us to events and venues across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, and we find increasingly that we're working on our home patch in the Amber Valley - Derby - Nottingham triangle. We work on a mobile basis travelling to your event and bringing your decor with us. For larger events, there will be a need for us to create some of your decor on-site at your venue.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The Covid-19 situation is constantly changing and therefore we ensure that we work inline with the prevailing government guidance at the time of your event.
Balloon Deliveries
Balloon decorations delivered to your door in the Amber Valley, Derby and Nottingham areas. Our birthday number balloon bouquets are a great option for celebrations taking place at home or at a venue.
Balloon Styling and Decorating Service
Simply let us know your theme or colour scheme and the type of decor you have in mind and we'll create a unique balloon art installation specially for you. We will ask you to provide photos of the event space you would like to have decorated with balloons.
We travel to your venue to create balloon decor for your event or special celebration. So whether it's a balloon arch for a birthday party or corporate event, or an organic balloon art installation, we travel to venues across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
