The staff takes great care to help us, they get appointments set in a timely manner and can even do phone appointments to keep us from having to drive 45 minutes each time we have to renew meds. they have helped with psychology and counseling, as well they have lots of therapy treatment including help with hormone treatment. My name is Cory Daniels and I am a 38 y/o RN who was recently diagnosed with MS. In some of my personal research I came across NAD treatments which lead me to Ballen Medical & Wellness as that is one of the many services they provide. From the get go I was very impressed with their service and promptness as I live in a different state. When I first arrived I spent about 20 minutes talking with Dr. Ballen. She was very friendly, caring, open minded, willing to listen, and obviously very intelligent. Tara one of the lead nurses then spoke with me and she was able to offer me some more information on NAD which was helpful. This clinic was able to start my treatments the same day and they did them on weekends which was great as they saved me a lot of time and money. All of the nurses that ran the treatments on me were great. Amber is awesome and Lee and Jessica were great as well. They were all very welcoming and very competent at what they do. As for the NAD infusions, they are a little uncomfortable and even painful but the staff do a great job of keeping one comfortable. About 2 hours after the treatments I always felt great. I have high hopes for its effectiveness for my MS and time will tell. I definitely recommend Ballen Medical and Wellness to anyone looking for wellness with the services they offer which seems to be quite a bit as they have a well rounded multidisciplinary team. They also work with other experts in multiple respected fields to continue to offer better care. Their therapy dog Webster is also awesome and makes the experience all the better. I am a mother of 3 children ages 13-16. Myself and 3 children all have Chronic Neurological Lyme Disease. We have been patients in many facilities over the past 3 years. Hands down this was one of the best experiences we've had.

My son Cole began first for NAD IV therapy to assist in his post stem cell healing. That is when we were lucky enough to meet Nurse Tara, IV infusion nurse. Not only was Tara knowledgable and professional but she was also extremely compassionate and helpful. Sometimes in the Lyme medical community these qualities are hard to find. Tara handled Coles infusions so appropriately I didn't have to play the role of Dr. Mom.

Dr. Ballen somehow was the same way! Professional, caring and accommodating. Their aftercare is definitely the best we have ever experienced. Because of this my two daughter and I began NAD treatment as well.

If you have Lyme and are looking for a safe, caring environment for NAD, Myers, vitamin c or hydrogen peroxide I highly recommend! They also have a safe detox program if you are looking to get off of meds prescribed before your proper Lyme diagnosis. More...

I stumbled upon Ballin Medical & Wellness searching for an IV Therapy Clinic for myself and children who all suffer from Neurological Lyme Disease. The process from the very beginning was extremely professional and the staff and nurse Tara were so understanding, compassionate and accommodating. This is a very RARE experience for us and it made our experience that much easier. Tara the IV Therapy nurse is extremely knowledgeable as well as attentive and compassionate. She builds not only a professional relationship with you but also feels like a friend after a few visits. Dr. Ballen is completely professional, down to earth (RARITY) and is always seeking out ways to help and care for you. I have been seeing Dr. Ballen for few years now, and she is absolutely wonderful. She has helped me so much, and is ALWAYS there when i really need her. I have bi-polar 2 and have suffered from severe depression my entire life. Fortunately, when I was at my wits end, she recommended for me to do Ketamine infusion treatments. I'm not saying that it is for everyone, but it did save my life, and I have not been depressed since I first did the infusions, over a year ago. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. I cannot recommend Dr. Ballen or her practice enough. She has helped me more than I think she knows, and has got me back to a much better place than I was before.

I have been seeing psychiatrists for awhile now, and all of them have have had no interest in what I had to say, whether it was in regards to what I thought my diagnosis was, or whether meds were working or not. I was just a number to them so they could get paid. Dr. Ballen has been completely different. No pressure to take specific meds, has curiosity about my thoughts of what the issue is (I have a MA in psychology so I have some background), and a TRULY caring personality. She is always there to help. Even my parents have been grateful I found such an amazing individual after so many poor psychiatrists.

I do want to say she does not contract with insurance (although you can submit super bills to insurance for out of network coverage). One of the great things about this, is that her and her staff can treat you the way you need to be treated, without pushing pharmaceuticals you don't need, look at treatments other doctors are scared to explore, and make your health success the priority.

To wrap up, Dr. Ballen will be my psychiatrist from here on out, as she has shown me there IS a good psychiatrist out there. If her or I move somewhere else, I will fly to her to continue any treatment I may need. More...

Best Psychiatrist that I have ever seen. I am dealing with a number of anxiety and depression issues and Dr. Ballen has been able to get me on the right track after numerous doctors in the past were unable to.
