Katie walks our black Labrador Teddy in the week when we are at work and its so nice to know he is in safe hands. He is a very excitable dog and looks forward to his lunchtime outing, either on his own or with his furry friends. He can be a bit of a handful at times but Katie always lets me know if he has got up to mischief by either posting a picture/video or phoning. Nothing is too much trouble. Teddy is our No 1 priority when we are at work and I would highly recommend Katie, you won’t be disappointed. More...

After searching for the right person to look after my precious yorkie , I was told about Katie by a friend. As soon as I met her , and she met Teddy , I knew she was the person I had been looking for. Katie is amazing! We are very fortunate to have her checking in on our Bella 3 days a week, twice a day. Being an anxious person, Katie totally understood and reassured me. She is also kind enough to send me regular updates each day whilst I’m at work which is so lovely. Katie is very caring and thoughtful. I feel so lucky to have my dog looked after and walked by her. Katie looked after and cared for my 6 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback for a week whilst I was away. I was understandably slightly nervous about leaving him as he is a big puppy and a bit of a handful at times! I had nothing to worry about, Katie was professional yet so friendly and accommodating. Loki thoroughly enjoyed his stay and all the love and attention he received, as well as the lovely daily walks. Owning a pet is a responsibility of care, at Ball & Biscuit that principle is at the heart of our thinking with everything we do. As pet owners ourselves, we know that all owners want to provide the best level of care they can. So when you trust us to look after your pet for you we take that seriously. As a result we provide a friendly, personal service for you and your pets.
Ball & Biscuit offers a range of services to suit the needs of you and your furry friend! For all of our services, we offer a free introduction and consultation. This is a chance to get to know each other, answer any questions you may have and assess your pets requirements.
We are fully insured, DBS checked, licensed by Lewes District Council and hold qualifications in Equine Sport Performance (BSc hons), Canine Communication and Pet First Aid. Pets are transported at all times using a secure air-conditioned vehicle.
Dog Walking - 1:1 Solo Walks
At Ball & Biscuit we understand that not all dogs can be or enjoy being walked in a group.
This service is intended for those dogs who still want a nice invigorating walk in a stimulating environment but would either prefer to be, or would benefit from, being on their own. Also ideal for puppies or senior citizens who may not require as much exercise or those who are just a bit too nervous about meeting other dogs yet.
Dog Walking - Group Walks (max 4-5 dogs)
All good dog owners know that a well exercised dog is a happy dog but maybe your current schedule or circumstances prevent you from devoting as much time to your dog as you’d like. If this is the case, we're here to help!
Dogs are walked for one hour and have the chance to run freely off-lead (with permission given from owner) in safe, fun countryside locations. Service includes a towelling down and water bowl top up.
Doggie Day Care
We all have situations and circumstances in our lives when leaving your dog home alone for longer periods of time is unavoidable. Ball & Biscuit provides a doggie daycare service for clients that may need to leave their dog at home for longer than they would like.
All dogs in doggie daycare are walked for at least one hour in the morning and again in the afternoon (and given lots of fuss and attention...of course!)
Pet Sitting
Going away on holiday for a weekend or a couple weeks? Don't want to leave your pooch somewhere you don't know? Don't panic. We've got it all covered. We can stay at your home with your four legged friend, look after your place, and make sure your pooch doesn't feel your absence too much. We'll provide a few daily walks, plenty of play time, socialisation and cuddles to make sure it will feel like a holiday for your pup too.
Home Boarding
home away from home! This service includes your dog being walked at least twice a day, feeding and play time (food provided by owner), light grooming, lots of fuss, access to a secure garden, company throughout the day and night.
Not left for any longer than 3 or 4 hours, dogs have free run of the house and able to sleep where they like.
Pet Feeding/Drop In's
This service includes feeding, refreshing water bowls, cleaning litter trays, basic grooming, play time and fuss, bringing in the mail, opening/closing curtains, switching lights on/off, watering of house plants.
Equine Services
Whether your away for a long day at an event or planning a holiday, a spell in hospital or an emergency has arisen. I can offer many services to ease the stress and worry. This service includes skipping out/mucking out/bedding down, turning horses in/out, feeding, rug changing, grooming/picking out feet.
Pet Taxi
You may not have time to take your pet where they need to go, you may not drive and taxi drivers can be very reluctant to carry pets in their vehicles. Ball & Biscuit is equipped with a dedicated K-9 vehicle, complete with large secure cages and air-conditioning, to provide a specialist pet transport service. We can help transport your pets to a variety of places including the vet's or local grooming parlour.
