Very friendly place, nice and relaxing. Plenty to see and do or relax on spotless beaches. Beach parasol and 2 sunbeds €15 a day. You will have to pay a tourist tax €2.20 each per day but everywhere is clean and tidy. More...

Two weeks on this charming island isn't long enough to explore all it's delights. Whether you are interested in wildlife, architecture, history or just want to laze on a sandy beach in the sun, this island has it all. There are some excellent bird-watching sites offering the chance to spot some rarities - I added Little Bittern and Glossy Ibis to my tally this year. Bee-eaters remained Illusive unfortunately. A day in Palma with it's fabulous Cathedral, bustling streets and quiet squares is a must. Food and drink is readily available and reasonably priced. The train services are also good, much better to use them than try and find somewhere to park the car. The north and east of the island have the most accessible beaches but if you fancy something out of the ordinary a trip to Sa Calobra and the beach at Es Pareis is stunning - but expensive. Parking and food/drink is three times what you'll pay elsewhere. Take a picnic if you can! There are various cave sites around the island, most of which are worth a visit. I've been to Mallorca three times now and still feel I've got things to see. More...

What an amazing island with so much to offer. I stayed in a 200 year old farmhouse in the center of Mallorca and did daily trips each day. The food and the markets were so fresh and amazing....can't wait to go back and eat!!!!! The beaches were also amazing !!! More...

It was great weather in mid October, up to +27 degrees, clear sky. Enjoyed our vacations in Alcudia (family trip), many options on the island: sightseeing, beautiful beaches (Es Trenc, S'amarador, etc), hiking trails, bicycling.

Great island to visit, but some places are losing their identity in order to accommodate the masses from Germany, UK etc

Small island with nice views. I went there for a conference a few years ago. I went there during winter, it was sunny but it a bit chilly. Maybe, I’ll try to visit during summer. More...

Very easy destination for new travellers. People speak pretty good english everywhere. Remember to rent a car and drive around to see everything. For me Mallorca didn't give the real feel about Spain and spanish culture because every place in Mallorca is filled with tourist but it was still amazing place and I'm definitely going to Spain someday again. An island of contrasts. Mountains and villages with spectacular views to beautiful beaches secluded or the usual tourist spots . Alcudia beach is great for children. A beautiful hotel in Binnisalem (scotts) is a little haven in the middle of the island in the wine region. Too many places to mention all with their own charm. Love it ☺️ More...

I live here. First time I've been asked to review the place I live. It's a truly beautiful place with by and large a good infrastructure, if you have a car. A varied landscape from mountains to swamps and of course drowning in ridiculously good looking beaches. Life is pleasant, work is often temporary and badly paid while rents are crazily high. If you can afford it and if you can take it, heaven on Earth. Maybe not but a unique place in the world. More...

20 years ago the island was a paradise and no one except the Germans saved this island and made it the most popular tourist destination in Europe. Thanks to the Germans this island and Spin is surviving and making some money.

If it was not for the Germans this would be a dead Island with no life. Thank to the brits and other a-holes around Europe who come here and spoil the island. Litter food and plastic all over the place and fking Europeans dirty the island and commercialised it.
