I had a fantastic experience with Babylon IT Solutions. My keyboard had some keys that weren't working, so I took it into the shop expecting them to charge a consultation fee just to look at it. To my surprise they quickly identified the problem without charging me anything and told me that if they had the proper keyboard they could fix it in 20 minutes, but unfortunately would have to order this one in. When I asked about buying a USB keyboard while I waited (I'm a student and I had some reports that needed doing) he told me that he could lend me one of the shop's USB keyboards for free instead. They gave me a realistic timeframe for the order to come in and called me as soon as it arrived. On top of that, when the keyboard was being tricky to install one of the associates stayed with me for 40 minutes until we got it working! I won't be going to anywhere in Cambridge except Babylon IT Solutions from now on. Thanks, guys! More...

I spilled half a cup of tea on my macbook pro yesterday, the macbook suddenly shut down as a result.
I bought it over to apple store (Cambridge, grand arcade) for advice, the Apple technical said that the water has damaged most parts of computer, to fix it, it would cost over £900, so he suggested that I might as well to buy a new one. After 20 min of conversation, he then say that I can wait to see whether it might still work if I turn it back on after waiting for the computer to dry on its own for about 2 weeks or a month.
I then brought the macbook to Babylon for a second opinion. They knew what to do right away, and then fixed it within 24 hours. Super nice and professional about it. They were amazing!!! In the end, only costed me £120 to fix the macbook, it's now like brand new, everything is fine like before. So: "Apple store sucks. Babylon IT Solutions ROCKS!!!"
