Babur is a small, smart, relaxed neighbourhood Indian restaurant.
Regular customers describe it as West End dining at neighborhood prices. Harden’s restaurant guide says: “ ‘You just don’t expect restaurants of this quality deep in SE London suburbia’ – this ‘classy’ modern Indian in Honor Oak Park, offers ‘wonderfully original’ cuisine and ‘exceptional’ service.”
Had a lovely meal in Babur Food was very delicious with a great menu. Service good and Lovely Ambience
As always the food here is amazing in this hidden south London gem. I really think this would be pushing 1 Michelin star in central London. Very thoughtful and good wine list also. More...
Can't believe it took me 8 years of living in the area to visit. Been twice this month now! Amazing food!!
Delicious makhni daal and Kashmiri sauce chicken, the probably most tender chicken in my life
Indian takeaway will never be the same. Fantastic choices and huge portions.
Beautiful food, amazing flavours, the best cocktails and excellent service ...we’ll be back!
5 stars for a 5 star restaurant......the service isn't too bad either
Incredible food and service as always. Many thanks
Excellent food and service
Great service with a different interesting slant on Indian cuisine. Excellent food and ambience.
An exciting Indian flavour experience. We had the 5 course tasting menu with matched wines. Absolutely fabulous!
The best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Different.
Excellent food, lively ambience and good time with family. Only minor gripe was it was a little too hot at the back of yhe restaurant. Need air conditioning.!@
Very good. Amazing curry cocktail!
Incredible food. Indian food taken to another level. It won't disappoint. Obviously the price is in relation to the high quality.
Attended by sisters 50th birthday celebrations on Saturday and can say that this is a fabulous restaurant, the best Indian I think I've ever had.
Superb restaurant on all counts.
Amazing food. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The tasting menu was fantastic, especially the goat curry.
Best Indian restaurant in South London
Anyways great service & fantastic food
Consistently excellent, interesting and higher level Indian food. Also excellent takeaway/delivery service of the same menu. We are very lucky to live close to this gem. More...
Food very good BUT we arrived on time and were told that our table was being cleared. 30 minutes later we were still waiting. We were not advised of the delay and kept updated More...
Another great evening at the Babur, the food is always good and the cocktails are wonderful. The staff are always polite and are ready to help you with the menu. Thank you Babur, looking forward to the next meal with you. More...
Top quality food for very reasonable prices with great service.
Good food but kinda fancy for my taste. Great service.
Came for the Sunday lunch buffet. There were about a variety of 8 different dishes, a salad bar, and naan with rice. The curries were all good, but not exceptional (it's a buffet after all), but I'm taking off a star because there wasn't a single dish that was actually spicy. The drinks are delicious though, and I would highly recommend! More...
Great food. Did make us wait 20 mins which was a bit annoying when we had booked.
Star staff and fantastic food!
Very good place to eat
A wonderful meal with great service!!
Really beautiful food
Elegant interior, attentive staff, inspired menu, nicely presented food
Great food. Outstanding hospitality and service (but I was also the only one at lunch mid week). I can tell this place would be packed out for dinners. Fine dining level Indian but at Non-Central London prices. Only takes 40 minutes fron Liverpool St. I will be back More...
Brilliant brilliant cocktails. And that food well. Absolutely exceptional.
This food is delicious
Just delicious food and wonderful service! Loved it
Loved it. Great food amazing service will definitely go back soon.
Absolutely amazing experience. The restaurant has a narrow entrance but once you step inside there's a lot more space and a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. The first thing you will notice is the service: it is beyond reproach. The difference between the service in this restaurant and others is simply staggering. You can clearly tell there's an emphasis on providing the highest standard service possible. We ordered quite a few dishes, starters, 2 mains, desert and drinks - everything was fantastic. They serve a very tasty dal makhani. Highly recommended! More...
Good good food, pleasant atmosphere good service. Whole restaurant singing happy birthday to my wife, what's not to like?
The service, menu choice and food were all good. I'd say the only criticism is the interior looks dated and does not suit an award winning. Nice to go to a fine dining restaurant that is it not in central London. More...
The food was very nice, a bit on the pricey side, but it is Michelin starred, so fair enough. They had a vegan menu, and I am a vegan, so I was happy about that. The staff were great. My only gripe is that the place is gloomy, and also a bit cramped. I asked for a candle for my table, to cosy things up a bit (and also so I could see what I was eating) but they didn't have one. The hard surfaces made it very noisy towards the end of the evening, as it got fuller. Not a place I'd go to again, mainly because of the gloominess. More...
Amazing food. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Just a perfect evening. The tasting menu was delicious and the service exemplary
Phillip Du Plooy
What a great restaurant and great food would highly recommend it.
Best curry in London. Modern Indian without being pretentious. Highly recommended
Friendly and great food. Will be back.
Attentive friendly staff, clove lamb chops a real winner but all our food was great. first timers but definitely going back!
My first time here, will be going again. Great food and service.
A real gem of a place. Authentic dishes with an twist of originality. The 4 course taster menu is a delight with accompanying wine(s). Had to cave in and extend to 5 courses for dessert with liquor, what a good decision and a truly remarkable finish to a splendid meal/evening. Known about this place for 10 years wished i hadn't taken so long...to enter. Won't be long before we go back ☺️. On a par with famous chef names for me Gordon Ramsey etc. Super effort team!! More...
Went there for the first time last night, it won’t be our last visit. Food, service, atmosphere, all 1st class!
Babur is always an excellent choice, with great food and fabulous service.
My husband and I keep returning to Babur, not just because it's where we had our first date (15 years ago!) but because the attention to detail is exceptional, the food is always innovative and the service faultless. What more could you ask for?
Excellent in every respect!
Fantastic Sunday buffet, always reliable, with great a la carte dining during the week with unususual and delicious dishes. One of south London's finest.
Amazing food and cocktails, friendly staff, nice decor - an overall wonderful dining experience
Very fine meal, but Babur is a very fine restaurant these days (we first went there over 30 years ago). The food is thoughtful and carefully cooked and well presented. The waiting staff are excellent. It is probably the best restaurant in the area, and there is some competition. A wonderful evening out. More...
This was probably my fifth trip to Babur. It's a fantastic gem of a restaurant. Well worth a visit! All food and cocktails are fantastic. Can't wait for an excuse to go again! More...
Lovely cocktails, great food with both some classical and some unique influences. A real find.
Booked at short notice on a weekday evening, and had a drive to get there. It was worth it however - professional though relaxed service, finely executed dishes, and a lovely sense of peace and civilisation as all the other diners were clearly enjoying their experience too. Thank you Babur. We will not leave it so long before our next visit. More...
Nicely decorated restaurant. Food was tasty and not by any means the normal high street curry. Good wine list although overpriced.
king prawn coconut curry.
stunning food, exemplary service, wish we lived nearer so we could get their takeaway!
I have enjoyed the Babur since the 1980s. Over the years it has become more sophisticated in its presentation. Why would I think nowadays of going to central London to eat an Indian meal when I can eat just as well (no,better ) at the Babur?
This is not your average curry place. The service was impeccable from the moment you walked in to the moment you left. The host was lovely and seated us immediately even though they didn't get the reservation from Opentable. Luckily I had the confirmation email but there was really no need to show them as they took me at my word. We demurred the tasting menu as we thought we would be too full but we had the scallops to start with suggested wine pairings with our mains, the sea bream and the duck, with pilau rice, sag aloo and crispy potatoes for our sides. We also had the deliciously fluffy garlic naan bread. They also had great cocktails. An overall wonderful experience. More...
delicious food as usual. the waiter was not welcoming at all.
The tasting menu, both non vegetarian and vegetarian was delicious. A feast.
Great food, ambience and staff. No rushing. Also great drinks selection including cocktails/ Indian cocktails . Lovely place; one of my favourites
What a brilliant restaurant to have in the local area! Honestly, the menu and the food is like a restaurant in Central London. It is not your typical Indian restaurant, it is more authentic than dishes typically made for the western palette. A nice touch is that the menu has a suggestion for a wine pairing, which I thought was brilliant. Although the prices of some of the bottles of wine are quite pricey. My friend and I decided to share our dishes so that we could try more. They do offer a set tasting menu but we ordered from the a la carte menu. We were given a complimentary dish to start which was a nice touch, and we had poppadoms with home made chutneys. Normally I don't go for poppadoms but when they arrived I was really impressed. We got all different types and the dips were tasty, some were very spicy! For our starters we ordered the Afghani chicken tikka and Hiran Ki boti (red deer), both dishes were delicious and the deer had a really kick to it, it was a bit spicy for me. The portion sizes were good, so we were both able to have a decent amount each with us sharing. For the main event, we went for Chicken Biryani and the coastal Mutton Masala. Both dishes came with rice, so you don't have to order anything on the side. We just went for a cheese naan and a roti. The biryani was definitely my favourite, it was so full of flavour and it was delivered steamed in a clay pot. The mutton was cooked perfectly, very tender and you got plenty of big chunks of meat. Again that dish was a bit spicy for me, but all dishes are marked with their hotness rating, so it was to be expected. The portion sizes were again, a really good size. We were definitely full when we left! The restaurant has a vast wine list and cocktails available to really make a night of it. I would definitely visit the restaurant again, but it isn't the sort of restaurant I would go to every week. I will probably return when I have visitors to impress with my local area! I would like to try their takeaway, Babur to go, further down the road. The restaurant is quite expensive, I think our bill came to £85 for two people, with a bottle of the cheapest wine they sell. If you are looking for something different than your Korma and Tikka Marsala then try here! I think we are lucky to have something so good nearby. Don't be put off by the giant tiger statue on the roof of the restaurant!! Also, I would suggest booking as the restaurant was full on my visit. We made a booking at 6:30pm on a Friday evening and by the time we we left it was full and there were people waiting. More...
Outstanding and a great Birthday experience for my Daughters 15th

Fantastic service and food
Lovely meal. The best Indian restaurant by far
Dinner was wonderful and so delicious.
We had a great evening , it was very busy and although once we were seated we had good service it was very late and we didn’t get our main course till 10 pm so it was a late night ....
Great place to eat Indian food
Amazing service, amazing food!!
Excellent food and great cocktails
Excellent food, as always at Babur. Took family this time, and they were very impressed. Best Indian main course he has ever eaten - said my dad (it was the chicken supreme).
Absolutely fabulous dinning!!

Delicious food and fantastic service, We’ll certainly be back. Thank you for a lovely evening
Hospitality and cuisine above and beyond; worth the trip from the Americas!
Absolutely delicious! Crab starter and monk fish main. Both excellent and the presentation was spot on. If I hadn’t been driving I would definitely have done the wine pairing!
Excellent food as always and a grest wine list too. Highly recommended.
Good menu and realization
Best curry there is. Also good cocktails.
Always amazing food and service. Best curry in London
Excellent menu for both food and drinks, cocktails outstanding, food very well prepared and presented, knowledgeable staff, what more to say?
You don't have to go downtown to enjoy an excellent Indian food, just in the SE of London. Go local.
I was here last night for our wedding anniversary as we wanted somewhere special. And as usual the food did not disappoint excellent as always!
Seriously good food - the best Indian cuisine I've ever had. A great tasting menu with a really good wine pairing, and all excellent value for money given just how good the food was. Service was also relaxed, friendly and very knowledgeable. More...

Great food with excellent friendly staff.
Very tasty Indian dishes and friendly owner
Been going here 20 years. Best Indian in London still! The flavours of the curry are so rich and unique. Very authentic too.
Great cocktails & FAB food.
Brilliant Indian food. Will certainly return!
Nice food if a little pricy on the drinks
Delicious food in a very nice setting. The de-congestion offer if you book a table for early or late is such a great deal. Reasonably expensive but worth it.
Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Amazing food
Really brilliant food.
Good food with decent prices. Paneer and fish dishes were especially good. 'The emperor's tears' is a must try cocktail
One of the classiest Indian restaurants in London. A jewel in South-east London. Fabulous cooking, friendly service and staff, and now they do wonderful cocktails. It isn't cheap, but it is worth it! More...
Hadn't been for years. Went for Sunday buffet lunch, great selection and good service.
Excellent food from an independent well established Indian can be hard to find, but not here. There were so many amazing sounding dishes it was hard to actually choose one. Each and every person in our group of 6 was extremely satisfied with their food.A nice range of exotic cocktails to suit. Fantastic restaurant, great food
Very different but great food!
A little pricey but really good food! The vegetarian options could have more flavor.
Simply awesome food. Not your average Indian restaurant. Especially recommend the taster menu.
Tipical Indian Food. The produce and the recipe are homemade. Very tasty
We had a wonderful meal and delightful cocktails. Three courses and drinks for two came to £100. I would highly recommend the dining experience at Babur.
Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, best restaurant in SE London

What a lovely take on Indian cuisine - I love it.
Best modern Indian restaurant south of the river
This is a up market Indian restaurant. The dishes are different from the usual, but are delicious.
Amazing authentic Indian food. Well worth a visit!
Great food, great drink selection and great service
Really good food. Not cheap, but good value for money!
Cannot express how good the drinks and food are at this place!
Amazing restaurant with delicious food and good cocktail list.
Fabulous restaurant - the Sunday buffet is delicious (come hungry!) and the service is always lovely.
A little gem in the suburbs! Great variety on the menu, so many options!
Very nice place
Amazing tasting menu and excellent service, seriously one of the best meals ever
Great food, amazing service and presentation. Cocktails are a must
Amazing food, great service, great cocktails.
slow news day
Lovely food and service went for the Sunday buffet and it was brilliant
Einfach lecker und mit viel Liebe serviert!
Probably the best Indian food I've ever had!
Great buffet on a Sunday. Bit pricey but definitely high quality.
One of my faves
Very good Indian food with a contemporary feel. Cannot recommend highly enough.
lovely place for dinner with the hubby. great options for vegitarians as well
Not cheap but good food isn’t! Great decor, atmosphere and staff. I’ll be back next time I’m in London. Nice to see good restaurants in the suburbs.
Expensive but worth it! Amazing service, dress up for this restaurant!
Brilliant food and even better cocktails
Amazing food and wonderful service will certainly go again
Nicholas R Hackett
Great food great atmosphere and local beer.
Excellent food served by friendly and helpful staff. Food was flavour-some with just the right amount of spice.
Couldn’t find fault in service, decor or food
Fantastic tasting menu with matched wines.
Great Indian food, quality ingredients, better value than central London high end comparables, with options on the menu to suit both 'new' style and old school British Indian tastes
Delicious meal as always. Friendly staff, tasty food and a great drinks menu.
Delicious food as always and excellent service.
Excellent meal and good service. What more can you want.
Very pleasant environment well set out add this to the excellent food great service and choices on the drinks menu and you will have a great experience
Always good food at the Babur. The service, though good, was a little too intrusive. Our table was in a very noisy part of the restaurant, and it was difficult to hear each other for most of the evening.
We had the non vegetarian tasting menu with wine pairing and I couldn’t recommend it more. Every dish was amazing - and the cocktails we had to start were incredible. 10/10 x
Oh what a place! Delicious food, great mood and very very friendly staff! Do not hesitate to book a table! Perfect for dates or small groups.
My (now) husband and I had our first date at Babur in 2004 and return each year to remember that night; the ambience is perfect, the staff are attentive, focused and nothing is too much trouble. The food is just sublime and one of the main reasons why this great restaurant is as popular as it is; their creativity and use of ingredients sets it apart from any other Indian restaurant you might have visited - yes, the standards are there, but on the next level; every bite is something to savour and all the more reason to make sure that you experience this local gem, hidden away in leafy Honor Oak Park, as soon as you can. Had a wonderful Father’s Day buffet lunch yesterday. Children under 7 eat for free is a fantastic idea.
Everything we wanted it to be, delicious, great buzz, amazing attentive staff. Yes its more than your average Indian restaurant but there is nothing average about it. It just means we may not eat here every month, but look forward to more special occaions here. More...
Excellent food, service and dining experience! Would recommend
Great dinning experience. Service could have been better considering the price of the meal. Surroundings pleasant. Food..... excellent!
Lovey indian with a nice twist. Date night and good gathering of any kind well worth going.
Food and cocktails are exquisite! Flavours and presentation like nothing else on the planet. Truly an experience not to miss.
Lots of great things on the menu, it's difficult to pick! Monkfish main was outstanding, as was the quails legs starter - wine pairing with each made it even more delicious.
How amazing to have this super restaurant in Honor Oak Park.
Cannot recommend Babur highly enough... everything we ate was absolutely delicious and the service was brilliant (I’m 7 months pregnant and they brought me a cushion to make me more comfortable without me even asking!) can’t wait for the next visit
Excellent food as always- the Chettinad is highly recommended. We also started with a Mumbai negroni, which was a great twist on the classic. Overall, a fantastic restaurant with an interesting menu and a great setting for a date or special occasion More...
Simply great. From the drinks to the towels, from the starters to the desert wine. Best place in the area.
Best food ever. Took my daughter there and she was blown away.
Thank You Babur for an amazing birthday dinner last night with Petra Lay and John Bowers. It's not just a good curry. It's a fabulous fusion of culinary techniques, flavours and presentation. The service..? Also excellent. I just wish there was a Babur in North West London. More...
Fantastic family environment, great food, hospitable staff...really attentive to your needs. Great customer service
Excellent service, great food and even better cocktails. Three courses and drinks for two came to £100. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Wonderful services and great attention from the staff and nice special touches. The menu is excellent and food delicious! Great for a special occassion
Very good food and service. A huge step above the usual curry house fare. Non alcoholic cocktails were tasty. Bit of a delay waiting for our table as they were exceptionally busy but in the scheme of things that's probably a good sign!
I have been going to Babur for years and it never disappoints. This time we tried the vegetarian tasting menu with wines and it was absolutely delicious. The food here simply puts other Indian restaurants in the shade. My only minor complaint is that service can be a bit slow but as soon as I mentioned this to the head waiter, he ensured that things started moving much faster . More...
Not cheap but good food isn’t! Great decor, atmosphere and staff. I’ll be back next time I’m in London. Nice to see good restaurants in the suburbs.
Babur is a firm favourite of ours! The food is always amazing, great service and the cocktails are to die for!Unfortunately on this occasion there had been an issue in the kitchen and we were an hour later sitting down to eat but the staff were very apologetic and attentive!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service was second to none, very attentive without being at all over-the-top. We each ordered the vegetarian thali, all components of which were delicious, cocktails and wine - both lists were extensive and we were very happy with the choices we made. If you're looking for a slightly more upscale Indian dining experience, Babur is highly recommended. More...
A wonderfuwonderful eveevening at Babur, brillbrilliant as always!!
Lovely food and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a sit down meal in the beautiful restaurant
The food was excellent as well as the staff!
Good and very tasty Indian food, modern style and interesting ingredients. Wines overpriced for the area. Buzzing atmosphere with good decor
An amazing all round experience. The food, drink, service and ambiance are all faultless. A place for a special occasion. Just make sure you’re hungry as you will want to keep eating.
Excellent food with lots of choices. Great cocktails and a lovely wine. We had a great time.
Different Indian cuisine Fine dinning at fine prices
Excellent service and great food. Couldn't fault the place. Thanks for a great evening. :)
As expected, best curry in south London. Great service and a great place for any occasion.
I've been coming to this restaurant on and off since it opened back in the 80's. Yes, the decor has changed and yes the prices have changed too. But what has remained is the outstanding quality of food and the great service provided by the team. In order to be successful you have to evolve, and that they have done to great success. SE23 is lucky to have such a place. More...
Fantastic food and service. Not your typical Indian. Good if you want to try something different,
Food was delicious as usual, service great, staff helpful. I am celiac but plenty of options including preparing scallops gluten free especially for me. My son (it was his birthday) is a foodie, it was his first time and he was very impressed. Shame he lives in NW London otherwise I think he'd be a regular. A big thank you to all the staff for a great evening. More...

V good food and atmosphere
Pricey but worth it. Great flavourful food. If you're able to find a tasting menu option (I had one at Christmas) with matching wines, that's definitely the way to do it.
Good food if you want a different take on an indian. If you want a curry, a biryani or anything more traditional, look elsewhere
Great Indian food and brilliant service!
Great food and service
The food here is great, although the choices are limited for vegetarians. A little expensive, but the ambience and service makes up for that. An unusual drink selection for the daring. An astonishing surprise. They have a take away branch which is an as you would expect good but typical take away This is something else . amazing indian - worth the trip down - service impeccable - ambience is decent
Wow! What an amazing gem of a restaurant. Possibly the best Indian food I've had. Highly recommend a visit.
Good Indian . Treated well by staff. Great veggie and Fish, meat options. Not your standard Indian restaurant. Knocking off a star because I find some of the dishes over salty
Excellent food, wine and service, good ambience, reasonable prices, serve until late. Definitely recommended!
I thought the lamb cutlet starter was cooked very well. Very succulent with good flavours. I also liked the "currytini" cocktail. It did have the hint of chilli in it that made it taste good and wasn't just a gimmick. I went for a thali which was nice but really wish I was more hungry so I could have tried the tasting menu. My favorite Indian restaurant in London. Food is always nice there. The Sunday buffet does not really represent the normal standard of food but it is a good budget option to try there.
Excellent Indian food with a contemporary style. Polite and prompt service but didn't feel rushed. Very busy on a Saturday night so bookings essential.
Delicious food, excellent cocktail menu, friendly staff

Food as always excellent
Delivery very fast and food excellent. Pricey but perhaps worth it
Always great food. I love this place.
Babur to go is excellent take away but this is so much better. The Indian Street Food section of the menu is incredible, the lamb wrap is the best thing I have tasted in months!

Really tasty and interesting Indian fusion and lovely decor - bit pricey but sign up to there list and you regularly get discount vouchers!

Babur has such a diverserange of delicious sounding dishes on its menu I always find it hard to choose what to have!
A beautiful meal, really fresh cooking with excellent presentation. Delicious and unusual cocktails and wine suggestions linked to the menu. Highly recommended in every way.
Tasty stuff. Lovely seasonal menu. Good wine. These guys know what they're doing!
Originally my booking was for 5 people but only 3 could make it. It was lovely. A great evening had by all.
The back room is far too noisy, it needs some sound proofing. Having requested a room in the main dining room (quieter) the request was not passed onto the restaurant via Open Table (which is apparently normal) so next time I will book directly on their website.
Been to thus restaurant many times and it never disappoints. Food lovely and good quality. Service good. We always come here after visiting family in the area
Superb, so glad to have found this wonderful Indian restaurant, can't wait to go back!
Stunning food and excellent service. Top.
Babur was recommended to me and i'm very glad I tried it out. Delicious food, excellent service and overall a lovely place to dine. Would be ideal for a special occasion or just to treat yourself. Great food, cocktails and service. Top marks

Excellent food and service. Second visit for us and hopefully won't be the last.
I love this restaurant. One of my favourite London eating out experiences. You must go.
Another excellent meal at Babur; outstanding food every time. The tasting menu is really superb and great value.
It's expensive - but it is damned good - a couple of times a year blow out... and we can stroll home.
Excellent as always and worth the long drive. The festive tasting menu and matching wine was outstanding. Highly recommended.
THE BEST Indian restaurant in south east London.
Fab food, we've been going for ever, thoroughly recommended.
While this a nice change from the more regular Indian restaurants and offers some nice contemporary dishes. It is very overpriced. The quality of the food is less than impressive although the fish dishes are very good. The meat options are poor well presented but taste and flavour is not up to the standard of other places. If you want a contemporary dining experience then go, but if it really good Indian food you want then look at other options. Did I mention it's crazy overpriced...... More...
Another great evening at Babur. Very busy on Friday so the cocktails took over 40 minutes to arrive (we chose 4 different complicated ones but perhaps they could do with a second mixologist! ) They were all worth waiting for though - perfect manhatten with a cinnamon stick swizzle was my favourite! The Christmas tasting menu was wonderful - particularly loved the first course prawn with crisp aubergine and puffed rice. A nicely matched wine menuI've given it 5 stars except for service - not because they weren't all delightful but just because of the speed of getting going More...
best Indian restauran outside India. Creative and delicious food. collection of drink ouly alailable at Babur
Amazing food and service, the best Indian food I have ever had. Highly recommended.
I ate here last night as a birthday treat and was reminded just how much I love this place. I walked in to a warm welcome and gorgeous smells, warmed up with a delicious Pisco Sour from the cocktail menu, started with poppadums, chutneys and free tasters, followed by seared scallops and veggie tali with a delicious and rarely seen Italian white, and finished off with a saffron kulfi and a complementary sweet & smoky degistif. The experience really couldn't have been any better - this is fine and exotic dining at a reasonable price (our bill came to £50 per-head). Highly recommended! More...

Babur lo when located only a few minute drive from our house is always a winner when looking for high quality local Indian food.
Reliably excellent and a fave local restaurant of ours. Food was delicious as always and the online gluten free (covers other options too like dairy) is really useful.
Great evening, food and service was amazing! definitely recommend
Fabulous exquisitely presented Asian fusion food with a more Indian accent. Great ambiance & decor. A must go though pricey so good for celebrations & romantic dinners for two.
One of my favourite restaurants in London.
Best indian food in south london. Would highly recommend.
We have eaten here a few times over the past 10 years and every time it was faultless and delicious. Keep going, Babur!
This is the best restaurant I have ever dined at. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. The tasting menu is a particular favourite and the staff match the wine perfectly with each course. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. Thanks Babur for a fantastic dining experience. More...
It's a perfect place to try something different. It's a very elegant gourmet indian Pakistani restaurant. Staff is very friendly and attentive. They had very good knowledge about the drinks and the food and helped us to do the right choise for our likes. Food was delicious and very different than the tipical indian restaurants. The food and coctails presentation were creative and attractive. Mojito was one of the smartest cocktail I have ever tried. I really recomment and definitely going back to discover different flavours. More...
Having used the delivery service for so long I feel ashamed that I had not been to the sister restaurant until recently. The food was in another league with Asian flavours enhancing English staples like shoulder of lamb and chicken on the bone. Friendly service in modern surroundings without any pretensions. Highly recommended More...
I visited as part of a decent sized group a month ago for the buffet lunch. Excellent food at a reasonable price. The premises are wonderful and the staff attentive. We shall be back soon!! Thank you.
Great food with really good service. Also reasonable priced
A bit expensive, but very nice food and service!
