I highly recommend Rhian.
I booked a photo session for my 4 year old and Rhian came to the house with her portable studio.
Polite, professional and cheerful she made the whole experience fun for my little girl.
My daughter had a great time laughing, joking and chatting the whole time.
Pictures came out so beautiful and vibrant. Just what we were after.
Couldn't believe we had them within 48 hours of the shoot too!
Amazing quality!

Rhian (and team!) were photographers at our wedding at the end of last year. We had an amazing day and have gorgeous pictures that capture the emotion and fun of the day. Rhian covered the day from getting ready until after the ceremony and it was wonderful having her involved, very professional but a calming influence on a hectic day! Given there were children and animals involved in a lot of the photos nothing fazed her! Very quick turn around on getting the photos which we will treasure - highly recommended!Following on from our wedding photos Rhian also did a newborn shoot with our month old son. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I think about the composition of my photograph...do I have everything important in....heads, feet, important people. Is the lighting correct, are my camera settings correct. I see the world in a series of potential photographs, what will make a beautiful photograph, what won't. I hate missing an opportunity to take an image that I can see in my mind and want to record...traveling absolutely everywhere with a camera is key!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When would you like your photographs taken? Where? How long for? What style of photography would you like? How comfortable are you in front of the camera? What is your budget?
What do you love most about your job?
When people hire a professional photographer, it is usually to record something special that is happening in their lives. It is not often that I have to work with people that aren't smiling, and this in turn makes me smile too. I am passionate about making people happy with the photographs I produce...and I just love creating them too!
What inspired you to start your own business?
After becoming disillusioned with working mostly in an office environment, which caused me to become ill with stress and deeply unhappy. I reevaluated how I wanted to my life to be...I did not want to be unhappy for all of my working life and wanted to do something I was passionate about!
Why should our clients choose you?
I am not only vintage styled, but quirky and Unique....not only in person, but in my photographs too. You will not get photographs like mine anywhere else! I am a trained Photojournalist and Art Historian...as well as a Teacher. I look at the world as a series of images and art and this is reflected in how I take my photographs and subsequently edit them - only bringing out the best in my subjects. I am fantastic value for money and offer you a very personal service, going above and beyond to make your event or studio session a special and comfortable experience for you.
