What inspired you to start your own business?
Coming from Jamaica in 2001 as member of the Police Force there, where i joined after my eighteenth birthday. My intentions were to enrol in college and join the Royal Airforce with a view of becoming a Passenger Jet Pilot. That did not work out in the end because of immigration reasons. I then went on to be a labourer working through different agencies, then a dishwasher, then a carer.
Whilst working as a carer the maintenance man left the nursing home then I had to fill in for him, which I was more than willing to do. I carried out the role of maintenance personnel with that care home for over 2 years then I joined up with a maintenance company in 2004 doing general maintenance.
Whilst working at this company I realised that responsive plumbing was my forte so i continues that for a while until I went back to Jamaica.
On my return in 2008 I was working for Connaughts through an agency when I was promised a fulfilling role a trades person one Friday after completing a few refurbs for them. Unfortunately the news i got from the agency later that same Friday was that the company has no more work to offer me.
Got home asked my wife to help me with my CV and got my CV out to as many agencies and contractors as Ican. Had no work for over three months so I enrolled in a college in birmingham where i done my plumbing course and following that decided I will start my own company where i would be able to get ou as much a s I've put in. This turned out to be my best decision ever as shortly after my son was born with a life threatening disease caused my wife to stop her full time job which was the only way for her to keep up with the hospital admittances and appointments. During which time I was able to help out as much as i could because of the flexibility of having my business offered. He later passed away in 2015 after which i was in depression for 2 years. I then decided to reinvent this company as a token of his remembrance. This now gives me the flexibility to support my wife with our youngest who was born 14 months after her brother, also to help out a whole lot more now that she is in university studying to become a pediatric nurse as a token of our sons passing as well.
That is my/our story in a nutshell.

I also aim to resolve any further issues if any following works done by my company.
