Our son has been coming to bsmart for a few years now he is 8 and not only are the lessons fantastic but shaun is an incredible teacher. Our son has a great discipline and has learnt how to respect himself and others, also how to defend and protect himself but also how to handle certain situations. Our son wasnt hugely confident but the lessons have helped him become much more confident even at school! Shaun is a very supportive teacher too even with the parents, any concerns we may have he is there to help and have a chat. As our son says sir you rock! More...

My son has been with Shaun since he was 3 ( he’s 8 now) he has achieved so much both physically and mentally. I wanted my son to learn how to defend himself but I found other martial arts clubs just taught unrealistic moves that even I know wouldn’t help him if he was ever attacked. I will be honest and say that B-smart martial arts are for me the best club all-round for development and self defence skills. My son has been attending for a few months now and I have seen an improvement in both his self-confidence & self esteem. The has also helped increase his confidence in interacting with other children. I wasn't sure what to expect when I signed up for this with my son but I can certainly say I am very impressed. My daughter has been attending for about 2 years now and with that she has grown in confidence, her skills have enhanced, not only in the art but in life too, along with her discipline to succeed, she thoroughly enjoys attending each lesson and seeing sir as he is fantastic with all the children and embraces them to their full potential in building their personalities into wonderful little people. The team there have the best interests of the children at full heart and encourage them enormously to grow and flourish, she not only tries her very best but holds high respect for them all, as do I as a parent. Brilliantly led self defence classes that teach social and emotional lessons as well. I have two children that have been going for a number of years, one with SEN and they both enjoy and are engaged. My SEN child says it is the only club she feels respects her space when she isn't coping socially. There has been occasions were expected standards of behavior have been taught in class, and that has been apparent in the behaviour that has come home. B-Smart Martial Arts is a club second to none. I would highly recommend enrolling your child if you have a B-Smart Club in your town. Coach Shaun is very approachable the club is run professionally and friendly, and questions are never a problem to Answer. My son started with B-Smart a few months ago and loves it. He has become much more confident and self aware, he looks forward to going to class every week. Shaun is a skilled and wonderful teacher. Shaun is a brilliant teacher, very inclusive of all children no matter their skill level. My kids absolutely love going to this club and to see them light up and so engrossed in something that isnt a computer that will give them real skills for the real world it's amazing. My kids have really enjoyed going to this class for over 3 years and I saw them having so much fun, that I joined them! The instructors know their stuff, give the kids confidence in dealing with protecting themselves, being vigilant in their everyday lives and how to respect one and other. The lessons are varied to keep the kids interested and there are many seminars planned to help kids with bullying awareness and weapon defense. The gradings are regular so the kids can progress at pace when they pay attention in class and practice at home. Highly recommend this class. More...
