I can highly recommend Azure Dental Formby . I have had general dentistry work and just had composite bonding on my front teeth which I am over the moon with. I am a very nervous patient but Dan and his Team are very caring and patient and put me at ease and explain everything. I had my free consultation today with Ella and her team and I can honestly say that I have never had such a welcoming team at a dentist before. From entering the clinic the reception team were lovely and even helped to complete the registration for me as I have a medical condition that affects both arms so she completed it on the i-pad instead. After having dental traumas in the past this dentist practice has made me feel so reassured, calm and looked after. After having treatment I even received a follow up call 24 hrs later, on a Sunday, now that is a service . I myself a ward sister of 17years in the NHS would recommend this practice. I can not recommend Dan Hines enough, I’ve just finished my orthodontic treatment and I am absolutely thrilled with my results. He’s a brilliant dentist and his nurse Becky is fantastic too both so friendly, patient and genuinely lovely people. I did my research before choosing which dentist I would like to take on my case and I chose Dan as he is one of the most precise, thorough dentists I know. I live on a narrow boat and continually cruise the UK’s inland waterways....I am also terrified of dentists. When I say terrified, I say it without exaggeration. So terrified am I, that I had spent the twelve months prior to seeing Dan and his team, eating paracetamol like they were Smarties. My husband and I where moored in Maghull, when he declared enough was enough and dragged me (kicking and screaming) by train, to Azure Dental. My initial consultation confirmed what I had suspected, I needed four teeth removed. I can not begin to explain my abject fear at that prospect. Dan was lovely, kind and truly sensitive. He reassured me that I would feel no pain and he was 100% right, doing everything to ensure that result. Consequently, I returned to this practice and followed through with my treatment, each time my fear abating. My boat is now moored in Market Harborough (East Midlands). I travelled for two hours by train to Manchester and then drove an hour to have Dan and his hygienist complete my treatment. Big shout out to the lovely young blonde woman who held my hand initially and her dark haired colleague (sorry I don’t know either of your names) who helped me remain calm and relaxed for the rest of my treatment. Ellie is genuinely the best dentist I've had in my life, gentle and caring. I don't know how she's constantly that nice if I'm honest because she's giving up her weekends to see patients who otherwise would be made to take time off work to attend appointments. From previous experience I know how important it is to get the right dentist. Dan is the best dentist I have ever been to. I had extensive treatment over a few months; it was pain free and I am really, really pleased with the end result. I live in Liverpool but regularly drive to Formby to attend Azure. I've been a patient at Azure for almost 4 years. I initially went for a free Invisalign assessment. Dan was very thorough in his assessment, and his passion for Dentistry was clearly evident. This convinced me to go ahead with full Invisalign treatment. I visited Azure after some awful treatment from an NHS dentist. I was nervous and apprehensive due to the treatment of my previous dentist but I need'nt worry, Azure were fab! They helped me put a treatment plan together, and sorted my pain from an infection out right away. Root canal treatment followed and Elaine was so good, she put me at ease all the time. On arrival at Azure Dental I immediately got a good vibe about the place. The receptionist was very friendly and the surroundings very modern without being clinical. Dan the dentist was also very friendly and welcoming. The consultation process consisted of a brief chat getting know my dental history and my needs and concerns, followed by a thorough examination of my mouth. Dan was very honest with his assessment and I felt assured that he was more concerned about my requirements and was not out to make money by providing unnecessary treatment.
