AZENCE and Tricia Ang defrauded me of $750.00.
Here's what happened:
I needed help locating my website content, which suddenly, mysteriously disappeared from the Internet and, with it, my email also went down.
Tricia and the team at Azence had originally built my website, and so I reached out to her for urgent help to recover my website. I raised an eyebrow when she asked for an upfront payment of $750.00 before she'd do any work. But, since my website and email are crucial for my business, I was desperate for help. I sent her payment via PayPal. To my unfortunate surprise, Tricia and her team didn't do any work. After two business days had elapsed, my website and email were still down. I called Tricia's teammate, Ashley Nicholson. Ashley admitted that Azence had failed to do any work. I was upset, and I immediately asked for a refund. Ashley responded that I would receive a refund. It's been 40 days, I have received no refund. I've sent multiple emails and made several phone calls inquiring about the status of my refund. Nobody at Azence will return my emails or phone calls. Azence refuses to answer my question about when I might receive my refund. Utter stonewalling. I guess I'm to assume that she's keeping my money for good, even though Azence did ZERO work, and Ashley Nicholson admitted as much. Azence appears to have stolen $750.00 from me, and neither Tricia, nor Ashley, nor any employee will explain. I've contacted my bank in an effort to recover the funds. My experience with Tricia Ang and Azence is the worst business experience I've encountered. Tricia and Azence is unscrupulous. I write this review with utmost sincerity and without vitriol, hoping that no other individuals or businesses will fall prey to Azence and Tricia's unethical business practices. I cannot recommend Azence to anybody. You engage with Azence, Tricia Ang, and Ashley Nicholson at your peril.

Tricia and the team at Azence were so detail oriented in their approach to website design. They really get to know your business as well as possible so they can tailor your website to target the audience you want and generate business from the website traffic. I had a great experience working with Azence! My projects with Azence included web design, their SEO (search engine optimization) package called BeefUp, and a little Video Marketing. Tricia is such a lovely person, she took time to really listen and understand my needs and provided a seamless introduction to the team who worked on my projects. Abigail my project manager made sure all the details got communicated both from me to the team, and from the team to me. She was super on top of all communication and I so appreciated that – all the t’s got crossed and i’s dotted. Azence created a beautiful website for me that I am super excited to show off, and reflects who I am and my business beautifully and authentically (johannas-acupuncture.com). Together we refined many aspects of my site and the changes and edits I was looking for were all implemented, so I ended up with exactly what I wanted. The SEO has helped me be more findable online and after AZENCE did all their work I got my first ever online booking! Wow! They also helped me create a video since video marketing is becoming more important online. My business took a huge leap in my online marketing thanks to Azence! Not only do they do great work, they are very affordable and come with amazing experience and expertise. I would recommend them for anyone looking to take their digital marketing to the next level. One that is easy to navigate, simple and intuitive and allows the audience to find what they need quickly. One that you, the site owner, is proud to present and show off to your clients and your audience. One that does is functional, easy to manage, maintain and one that does it's marketing, sales and converts for you!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We typically sit through a complimentary discovery session with the client. We want to know what the business goals and objectives are and how the clients define success. We would like to know who the stakeholders of the project are and what their roles are. We typically also do like to know if there's a deadline or what are the milestones for the different phases of the project. Describe your creative process.
We're creative we structure because we believe design should solve a problem. We design to ensure that our clients' collateral (websites, marketing, apps, videos etc.) should bring them closer to their business objectives which is to market, sell, educate and ultimately convert. We take a scientific approach to creating and use results and tracking to measure our success. Design should serve a purpose.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Typically, if it's a web site that we manage, all necessary access details, content assets etc.
What do you love most about your job?
I get to build solutions and help clients grow their business. I get energized when clients share with me the results of our joint efforts.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to build marketing and IT solutions using a collaborative approach to drive business and results for my clients. I also wanted to design my own lifestyle.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm well versed in most aspects of starting and growing a business, from marketing to IT, not many can be knowledgeable in CMS (content management), CRM (customer relationship management), video animation, SEO, social media and I combine all that knowledge to help my clients succeed.
