After two consecutive horrible colourist experiences in Toronto (splotchy/overbleached/brassy/rooty), my blonde needed some MAJOR TLC. I set an appointment with Clarissa -- to which my mother accompanied me and, on a whim, hoped to give her flat blonde and self-proclaimed "old lady haircut" some dimension. Axxess delivered in SO MANY WAYS: taking on my mother (thanks Tanya! My mother will be returning) without an appointment and giving us both amazing foils (lowlights and highlights) to our specifications. I have been going to Axxess now for 15 years and would never change salons!!!! The ladies that work there have always been very accomodating with appointment times, and are great with my two would( both under 10 years old). The kids are always excited to have their hair cut and the girls at Axxess go above and beyond to make sure the kids are smilig at the end. To be honest Im not sure who enjoys the visit more.. my kids or the staff :)The staff have always been helpful when I decide to make extreme changes.. offering suggested variations to the cuts I have chosen to make sure the 'new do' frames my face properly. They also take into consideration how much time I have to spend on my hair once I leave -which is something I value as a busy mom!! This is the only Salon that has been able to get my purple highlights the right colour and help me keep them that way! I will never go anywhere else! As for recommended stylist. I have seen Steph, Caroline, Denise and Krystal. All have been fantastic. I have other friends that go there and see others.. and I have never heard a compliant!The salon is clean and tidy. They always have lots of product stocked.. and are always willing to offer advice on products WHEN I ASK... they have never been pushy with products (huge bonus).The ladies at the salon are great at making you feel at ease.. its a great escape from my busy day (and kids).. always a coffee or tea offered.. and I leave feeling like (and I would like to think looking like) a million bucks!
