Axes & Ales is a Rochester, NY axe throwing establishment. Enjoy axe throwing for a one of a kind experience. Our indoor axe throwing facility has multiple lanes, craft beer and wine, and food from a scratch kitchen prepared on-site. In between turns hang out with friends, coworkers or whoever is throwing next to you.

This place made for an extremely fun birthday outing on my sister-in-law’s birthday, and I discovered a new Favorite pastime I never expected in axe throwing thanks to our coach and host as he set up a tournament for all of us new at axe throwing. We got good instruction and by the end of the night I was throwing and sticking the target...well, a LOT more than when I threw my first axe, anyway More...

We had such a fun time tonight. Booking a lane was relatively easy, and we had a funny instructor. Don't even step foot in the building if you can't take being made fun of or want to listen to their guidance on how to do better. Follow the rules and you'll have a lot of fun.
