This place is a hidden gem. I visited here back in September as someone had hit my car overnight whilst it was parked and drove off. It didn't feel right claiming through my insurance so searched online for a repair shop that was good enough. I was recommended here by my garage and I'm so glad I listened to them. I was first ask to bring my car in for a visual inspection. Mark inspected my car in great detail and throughout told me what he was doing. He seemed so professional and knew what he was doing that I also asked him about previous damages I had and if he could repair them. He talked me through everything and said he would forward me and price break down. When the break down came through I was so shocked to see the price for all the work I enquired about and agreed to the works straight away. AX was so good they even took my car in whilst I was away saving me a headache of being without a car if back home. Whilst away Stacey who works on the front desk kept me informed of all the work going on and when the works were completed. When it came to collecting the car I was amazed at the fantastic work that had been done and just how good my car looked. I have no doubt that I will use these guys again and always recommend them to friends and family needing repairs to their car. Standard of repair is excellent, I can't tell it's a repair! The ONLY bodyshop I’ll use. Excellent service and workmanship once again. This is the second time I’ve had my vehicle at AX Welwyn after bad experiences with others. One visit to AX paid out of my own pocket and once as an insurance job and I won’t hesitate to visit again as I’m pretty obsessive about my cars. After my fiesta st3 had some scuffs and scratches on n/s/wing panel done in car park at work I come here for a estimate and thought all the staff were very friendly and easy to deal with. I booked my car in for repair a week later and must say I was well impressed with the work done on my car. I noticed the car parked up looked brand new and would never of known it had been worked on the paint finish was excellent like new plus it had been washed polished and hoovered out inside and at a very good competitive price. So impressed at the quality of work and the professionalism all round at AX Welwyn. The whole front end of my vehicle was damaged quite extensively - a lot more than a few scratches or dents which made getting the right job done more important. Jo in the office took all of my stress and worries away, and Mark in the body shop filled me with confidence that I'd made the right choice. Was gutted to find an annoying dent in my car door! AX Autos in welwyn came up on google so went down and got it looked at! As an Audi owner great to see they are Audi approved and the service i recieved was great! Once booked in i was called a week later to remind me the car was due in for the work! Was told they would need it between Mon to fri and the team done the work and had my car back with me by Wed afternoon! Then when checking the car over i was extreamly pleases with the work they had carried out and even better washed the car for me! Thanks Ax AuTos team for a brill job and great service!
