I have had a dog of my own or lived with family dogs most of my life. Somehow, through mostly dumb luck I suspect, my dog would turn out ok. That is of course after 2 years of peeing in the house or chewing their way through separation anxiety lol. I have a boxer now and I adore him. He is amazing with people, smart ( learns quickly and listens to command) has a wonderful disposition with children and like all dogs is blessed with a unique personality that has endeared him to me forever. One day on a walk I discovered his flaw. Or at least I though it was his flaw. He did not like other dogs. This is an understatement. He seemed to hate other dogs. It got to the point where I would walk him in the middle of the night because I was tired of crossing roads and taking ridiculous detours to avoid other people walking their dogs. In fact it got to the point I wouldn't walk him at all.
Enter Nancy. As it turns out I was most of the problem with signals and cues I would give my dog without realizing it. Nancy not only helped me overcome this problem , but has changed the very nature of my relationship, and understanding, of both my dog and dogs in general. We work and learn as a team now.

After training with Nancy-Lynn, Mocha rarely jumps on people or dogs, she's a better walker, and her recall is much improved. She is only 8 months old, but has improved so much! Thank you Nancy-Lynn! More...

I went to Nancy-Lynn for help on how to better control my two year-old German Shepherd named Shadow. She would jump on me all the time, and I was also afraid of taking her for walks and meeting other people with their dogs. She would bark, lunge and pull so much that I could not control her, even with a prong collar. I was so nervous when taking her for a walk, I actually prayed that I would not meet anyone! When I did meet people with their dogs, I went into 'panic' mode. Shadow pulled, lunged and barked at them, pulling me right along with her. The look I got from the people walking their dog made me feel so embarrassed! That was it! I was determined to have a well-behaved dog. That's when I found Nancy-Lynn. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, understanding and has a great personality! She customized the sessions according to my needs. After only two sessions, Shadow stopped jumping on me! I went on my first pack walk, and Shadow did really well!

I can now take her for walks, and am no longer afraid of meeting people with their dogs. I am also able to take her to the dog park. Nancy-Lynn, you are truly a blessing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you've done! More...

Before I met Nancy, my dog King was seriously hard to walk and has excitement issues. He would lunge and bark at on coming dogs while on leash. Nancy showed me tools that I can use to curb the behaviour, she took the time to show me how to use different tools and ways to redirect him. Thank you Nancy for all your hard work!! More...
