Working at AMG has been awesome. You really control your destiny in many ways which is something that people really appreciate. The hours are flexible even moreso than typical remote jobs.. all I have to do is let the CEO know in advance when I need time off or if I need to adjust my schedule for travel and he pretty much always approves. Management seems pretty commited to show that employee happiness is important to them through chats and the things they do for the team. There's a lot of work but it's very diverse and interesting so it ends up being more fulfilling to do it instead of hating it and feeling like it's a burden. It's not perfect and some of the things about the way the company runs create issues, for example because there's no micromanagement some people don't do their work as urgently as others which can be discouraging.
