Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Its important that a new or start up business has the correct support and advice to help it grow, make more, but not pay any more tax than it needs to.
A small firm will not be able to afford a in house professional so using a external accountant to plug the skills gap is essential for the success of the business as a good advisor should bring so much more than just accounts and tax advice.
It needed cost the earth as most accountants no longer charge by hourly rates and agree to work on fixed fees.
What do you love most about your job?
What I enjoy most about my work, is the people you meet and get to work with.
Over the last 25 years I have built up a great network of contacts and forged many long lasting relationships, I have worked with some of the regions most colourful entrepeneurs and I am proud to support North East business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working with other successful people inspired me to go it alone, using the skills I had learnt along the way.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am really passionate about the clients we support and inject a lot of energy into the businesses we support. We also introduce a lot of technology into the businesses we work with so the bookkeeping becomes easy and not a drag allowing the business to grow, make more money and the owner the owner to enjoy it more, by taking on the bits they don't want or like to do.
We will work with you night and day to help you without charging you the earth, we don't change by the hour everything is based on a fixed fee which can be paid monthly if you so wish.
Business is good but we are always looking for more.

I have spent over 10 years in FD roles with some of the most successful family companies in the North East so have developed special bespoke virtual FD packages to help small businesses grow and make more money, acquire new businesses etc.
The service around Xero software which quickly turn around your monthly or quarterly accounts and provide you accurate and up to date information to allow to make decisions. We also build and specific reporting pack to suit your needs and highlight areas of concern or that need to improve.
This service is aimed at companies with turnover of between £500k and £5m turnover who are looking to grow or acquire other businesses.
