Angela really helped me, see from a different side that actually you're ok and everything that ever happens isn't your fault. She was calm, warm, friendly, understanding and patient when I couldn't open up. I no longer feel troubled by my past and finally feel ok. She built trust and made me no longer have a cloud over my head. Honestly I can't recommend her enough. šŸ’™ More...

If it wasn't for Angela's help & dedication I wouldn't have got this far. It will be hard at times & you will feel your on an emotional roller coaster but with Angela's supportive guidance you will get there, I did & I can't thank her enough. I'm now looking forward to my future for the first time.

The best decision I ever made was getting in touch with Angela, she has helped me like nobody else has, she is an amazing, caring & genuine counsellor.

The thought of counselling can be quite daunting and it can make you feel nervous and exposed. Angela is empathetic and compassionate and makes you feel like you are chatting to a good friend. She deals with your problem appropriately and gives you more self confidence and awareness. I would recommend her as an amazing and very professional practitioner. She has helped me through many dark and challenging moments in my life. I wish her luck with her new practise. More...

Q&A

I love building relationships with people, being able to empower them to grow and overcome difficulties. It is a privilege to be allowed into someones life as a therapist, and I want to be able to provide someone independent to walk alongside them until they are ready to go it alone. It is wonderful to be able to offer a service that follows my clients needs and responds accordingly. I find it is a massively rewarding profession.

The availability of NHS specialised counselling is sparse with long waiting lists and many loopholes and also often very time limited services. I recognised my clients needs often were not provided for and wanted to be able to offer an accessible professional service to clients that addressed their individual needs.

I am a fully qualified professional counsellor and cognitive behavioural therapist. I am also an anger management consultant and I am a specialist sexual violence and abuse counsellor. In the past I have also worked as a primary care counsellor for five years working in GP surgeries. I also supervise professional counsellors and have taught on counselling degree courses.
I enjoy working with all clients presenting with many issues, although I do have specialities I am more than happy to work with most issues as this enables me to practice in all my areas of experience.
