I was looking for a speed and agility trainer near me and I found out about Athletic Preparation through a friend who was already working out there. Once I came here for the first session I was hooked! After training for 5 months, my sprint times went down .10, my vertical jump went up 4 inches and I gained 20 pounds to get ready for college football. The workouts are fun and challenging plus it's a really fun atmosphere that pushes during your training - I'll be back in the winter for more! More...

I had aspirations of getting stronger and faster in order to have a chance of playing college football. Over the course of the summer, I was able to shave .2 seconds off of my 40 yard dash and went up 35 lbs on my bench. Now I am playing college football at the NAIA level. Without Josh's help, I would not be at where I am today. I would definitely recommend Athletic Preparation for any athlete trying to improve. Josh has given me that plan and direction and now I'm feeling amazing! Sleeping better, more energy throughout the day and improved mood are just a few things that have come of my work at A-Prep. The best training experience I've ever had! I was hesitant to jump into team training when I was used to one-on-one or working out on my own but now I'm so glad I did! Josh makes workouts challenging and, if you can believe it, a lot of fun. He's great at helping you push yourself and there's just nothing more rewarding than watching your body become fitter and stronger. Choosing to train at Athletic Preparation with Josh has been a great experience for me. He's helped me develop speed, strength, and power specific for me as a college football safety. I really like the fact that he takes the time to teach me individually, and clearly communicates what I need to work on with my sprint technique, why it's important and how to execute it to get the most out of all the work we put in every week. I wish I trained here in high school and will be coming back in the off-season. One of the most important things I got out of training with Josh was the relationship. Over 3 months we became close and that really helped draw me into lift. It was a motivation to see him so we could get better together! He is a very intelligent guy who knows what he's doing. You would be making a huge mistake not signing up with Josh!! Can't wait to be back at Athletic Preparation!!! More...

This is THE place to go for athletes! I cut .15 seconds off my 40-Yard dash time over the course of 8-weeks of training here, and have never been more excited for my upcoming football season. Its been about a year and the progress that I've made is incredible and i owe it all to Josh. Not only have I gotten stronger and faster but my confidence has risen tremendously. I came to Josh over protecting old injuries, afraid to push myself. I have been with Josh for about 1 1/2 years now. Feel so much stronger. Athletic Preparation is the spot to be if you're an athlete looking to get bigger, faster or stronger! The first 6-weeks of training, my bench went from 255 to 305. Josh has been my strength coach for about 4 months total now. He has been such a great help!! He takes the time to explain each workout and creates a workout plan specifically for you. He meets you where you are at and works with you from there. He encourages, is motivational, and extremely knowledgeable. He is very focused when he is working with you and even takes the time to show you the proper form for each workout. I knew nothing about how to workout before seeing Josh. I always wanted to go to the gym but once I was there I never had any idea what to do. When I first met with Josh he asked me what my goals were and since then he continuously teaches me new techniques to help me reach those specific goals. Four months later and I feel adequate to actually attend a gym by myself and feel like I know what I am doing! Working out has helped me not only physically, but mentally, he has truly helped me create a better lifestyle for myself and for that I am thankful!
