Over a few awesome sessions with Matt we managed to refine my technique for clean and jerk, set a PB and explore complementary exercises to work on weaknesses and improve my performance.
Matt is a switched on PT who will make you work hard but appreciates training smart, specific exercise selection for specific function, streamlining you to your performance goals.

I'll definitely be back for more.

I've been working with Matt for a couple months now and he's been brilliant! Helping us get over 10 year old injuries and back out of retirement and given me a good kick back into competitive weightlifting, couldn't recommend more!

Really enjoyed working with Matt. He pushes you exactly where and how you need it! Loved learning new and different techniques that were strange and first, but can really see, and more importantly, feel the difference. Excited to continue this journey.

Matt helped the Westside Outcasts recently by creating a 5 week coaching programme to help us prepare for the upcoming season here in the US. Our club needed a ‘revamp’ and an update to the way we looked at rugby. His programme allowed us to not only see the up to date and modern skills of rugby being implemented but also how to look at the game at a completely different angle allowing a clearer and smarter understanding of the game. In a short space of time we noticed huge improvements as well as really enjoying the sessions. We really hope you can help us again in the future. We will let you know how the season goes.

Due to years of contact playing a high level of rugby, my mobility and flexibility had seriously diminished to the point where I struggled to put my socks on in the morning without wincing. Matt has identified the weaknesses in my posterior chain and other areas, and has strengthened them all so I can now move a lot easier. If you have issues with pain and or flexibility that you have struggled to remedy with physiotherapy or osteopathy, you should definitely get in touch with Athes.

Fat loss and continued improvements in flexibility are my new goal this year working with Athes. Watch this space....
