Q&As

Every clinician on our staff has a passion for working in their area of specialty. As such, each maintains a high degree of competency and knowledge to remain as current as they are able in their area of focus. It is a passion to provide services that help people resolve their concerns and improve the quality of life for themselves. As many of our clients have significantly struggled with their problems, to the extent that it is impacting their lives, their health and their relationships, and even often their own safety, we understand that struggle, and work to resolve the problem and to develop healthier and more effective ways to manage them.

Our inspiration came from years of providing services to a individuals with broad range of presenting issues and concerns. Our goal was to be able to focus on our areas of specialization, and continue to become more proficient and focused in our skills, expertise and work.

We hope our clients choose us because of our focused expertise in our specific areas. Because of that concentration and expertise, we are able to be very practiced and experienced in a more narrow range of focus. While our backgrounds give us a solid base of experience and practice, we each like to be able to address the specifics of the problems or concerns and even the culture of the problems our clients are experiencing. In being more specialized, we understand the nuances and the finer details of the issues, and often have a resources and knowledge related to the most updated research, practices, guidelines, and information in the field. We are specialists in our areas, with our content areas and in our practice. When our high-risk clients tell us their worst concerns, it generally is something we are familiar with helping clients through, and so the client can experience that as our understanding, our confidence and our experience that we have helped people through problems like this before, and have faith that we can help them too. We aren't reactive and jump to extreme reactions and recommendations. Our clinicians can tell you what their training is, their model and framework is for intervention, and how they maintain their competency at the highest level of their training and licensure levels. You are the expert in your life, and as such, our job is as a guide to help you as you move through the resolution of your concerns and problems. This is a very active process, it is your work; we are the guides advocating to your progress.
