Had a good meeting at the Assembly rooms, but annoyingly accidentally left my macbook charger at the venue following a side meeting. Realised on the train home, but a quick call to Anne at the venue and it was helpfully retrieved. Alvaro the venues event manager then posted it to me free of charge. Really excellent service and lovely to go to a well run place where the staff cared about making a visitors experience great. Thanks again to the both of you. Ed More...

The Assembly Rooms are meeting halls in central Edinburgh, Scotland. Situated right in princess street near george street. Venue was amazing, staff, especially the receptionist was so helpful to everyone she was brilliant. This Georgian building is built to provide space for entertainment in Georgian Edinburgh. Beautifully restored and frequently used for events especially the Edinburgh Fringe festival. There is a Jamie Oliver restaurant on the ground floor.Incredible venue, we had a conference here and the staff were all great and it was the perfect venue for the conference. Very grand and beautiful. Worth a visit just to see the incredible space. Well air conditioned on a hot day and lovely toilets. More...

Lovely place with a character for a Scottish experience, it's located in the centre, serves decent drinks. The good was a disappointment for me, particularly the desert, however I had so much fun with traditional dancing that it didn't matter that much.

I attended its ballroom a few days ago. Unfortunately, I could not experience the venue in all its glory as it was just for a comedian show and there was a makeshift stage and seating with curtains all around. But nevertheless, it did look beautiful, I couldn't help but notice the ceiling with its chandeliers. More...
