I decided to become a personal trainer because I love to nurture people and I'm passionate about how exercise, nutrition and time spent outdoors are essential for well-being - both physically and emotionally. My focus is client-centred personal training.

Amazing, I didn't think I could actually run! By the end of the Introduction to Running Course we actually ran 5K, no problems. It was lovely to meet everyone too. Helen is really supportive and we laughed a lot! More...

Friendly, Fun and Exciting. I really enjoy my Saturday workouts with Helen. I've dropped a stone in weight and my strength has improved.
I'm looking forward to more sessions with Aspire Personal Training.

I love my weekly Friday evening session with Helen. It relaxes me after a busy week but also gets me pumped for the weekend. I notice a massive difference to my strength and muscle tone week on week and really enjoy myself. More...

I'm fairly new to training with Helen however, even before I started sessions Helen was messaging me, encouraging and supporting me to give it a go. Not in a pushy way at all, really motivating.
I tried the Friday evening circuits but can't always make that time so instead went to HIIT and loved it! Again, Helen has a really calm, motivational approach and always follows-up with a message asking how I felt and signposting me towards other fitness sessions I might enjoy.

I joined Helen's 0-5k running group and absolutely loved it, I'm starting the 5-10k group in the New Year. Helen is really friendly and down to earth and it has been great fun every Thursday evening.

I joined the Wednesday morning group. Helen is a great instructor. She allows you to work at your level and always offers encouragement. She makes working out fun and relaxed unlike other classes I have been to. Everyone in the group is really friendly. Would throughly recommend Helens classes. More...

Forget classes run by intimidating gym bunnies who, for me, make me feel daunted by fitness classes in a group!! Helen makes you feel comfortable in your own skin and truly wants to make you feel good about yourself, inside and out! ! Her classes are so much fun it doesn't feel like exercise.... What can I say!? Never did I ever think I would be able to run 5k, but with Helens help it was more than possible! I am a regular to Helen's friday night cardio and toning session. It is always great fun and really sets us all up for the weekend. I always leave with bags of energy and a smile on my face. An excellent, friendly, and supportive trainer, Helen has helped me with every aspect of becoming a runner, from my tears, through my aches, to suggesting I buy a bumbag! That first week I couldn't even manage all the one minute interval runs; now I can run for 30+ minutes (on a good day!) Will definitely be looking at signing up for more of her courses. More...

I started with Helen doing the circuits once a week...enjoyed it that much I now do 2 hiit classes aswell and am looking forward to starting a new legs bums and tums class. Helen is great.. she keeps you motivated, shows high intensity and low intensity so you don't feel pressure. The girls that go to groups are all friendly. I cannot recommend Helen highly enough. Before doing the beginner to 5k course I didn't even like to run to the end of the road let alone the thought of 5k. Helen is supportive, flexible and welcoming. Not only can I run 5k now, but I've learnt it's possible to laugh whilst doing it too. Running as part of the course was a fantastic way to meet people and the sense of team created by Helen's leadership was amazing to be a part of.
I love Tuesday's Punk Aerobics so much I offered to be part of the Flash Mob in the Town Hall.
Give a course a go. You will not be disappointed.

Firstly I do not like sport and I always dreaded PE at school, but I am enjoying Helen's Hiit to be fit class. It has a friendly welcoming feel, we are shown high intensity exercises and lower intensity exercises and can combine the two (which is great because towards the end of the session I need the lower intensity! ) Helen pushes the class just enough to get the best out of us but not too much that it feels like a boot camp. I leave feeling energised and looking forward to my next class, I also feel that it is doing me good both physically and mentally. I would definitely recommend. Thank you :) More...

In 8 weeks Helen helped me go from feeling terrible about my body and what it could do, to running further than I ever thought I could. She has been practical, realistic and supportive throughout and I couldn't have done it without her. She's got an easy and relaxed style which really suited me and my approach to training, and I actually found myself looking forward to our runs - I have NEVER looked forward to exercise before! Helen is the best fitness instructor I have come across. I am a graduate of her running course and regularly attend outdoor circuits and punk aerobics and can highly recommend them all.
