I have only just found out the company has gone into liquidation from sending a copy of my 'letter before court' to their email addresses. For a project that was meant to be started and finished in 2020 it was started in January 2021 and to this day not finished. Very poor workmanship and communication, until I had to start the proceedings for a small courts claim. More...

Project management is not a strength of that company. There is also no quality control over the work they do. Their architect made inaccurate plans, which they did not correct during the building survey.
Despite me trying to ensure the job is done properly there is not a single straight angle in the extension build by Aspire, door would keep blocking and I am really afraid what else might come out later. They only did one part of a contract, for the second one (loft conversion) for over half a year they are not able to plan a starting date. What makes the things even worse they are unable to ensure building regulation certificate for the extension they finished las July.
I absolutely do not recommend Aspire House Solutions Ltd.

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
A simple test would be to ascertain both existing floor and ceiling height and check that you have sufficient space to turn into a room, look at your existing rooms and ceiling heights and work back from that position, a normal ceiling height can be from 2.4 meters in height.
check the floor area can you step down into the garage and is there height to build the floor up and insulate, we suggest as a minimum 100mm to 150mm.
finally at this stage check how you gain access into the conversion from the main house.
At this stage it is also worth checking with your local planners if a garage conversion is covered under PDR (permitted development rights)
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
In normal circumstances the steps of a garage conversion are as follows
Review what you wish to use the room for
survey and measure and prepare quote for the various works
sign contracts
schedule works into the system
prepare and complete ground works and footings and any required brick works
install windows and doors (if required)
alter and or amend ceiling
first fix electrics
first fix plumbing
plaster board and skim walls and ceiling as required
second fix electrics and plumbing
completion
