This dude is incredibly unprofessional. Made misogynistic and homophobic rants on all his social media accounts. Has multiple rape charges and restraining orders against him too apparently. DO NOT GO HERE! It is DANGEROUS that he should be in any position of power around women. More...

Social Media posts by the owner are unprofessional and unwarranted. wouldn't trust this place with any level of proper fitness (mental or physical) when the owner is clearly in need of it himself. proof of his posts right here. https://www.reddit.com/r/Winnipeg/comments/jviwyk/do_not_go_to_aspect_fitness_in_east_kildonan_this/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 More...

I joined Aspect because I really needed help in so many areas where mobility is concerned. Most of all I had problems with my shoulders and couldn’t lift my arms above shoulder level. Justin had my arms moving well within a couple of months or less, just in time to see the orthopaedic surgeon my physician sent me to because she believed I needed surgery. The surgeon said, “ I don’t know what your trainer is doing but keep it up. You DO NOT need surgery. So, if you want someone to really assess you and listen to your concerns and create a personalized plan for you as well as support you and push you, Justin is the guy!!! I owe so much to his expertise and commitment, even to an older person like me. If you commit to yourself and his guidance, he will commit to you. Justin is the ultimate professional with so much knowledge and he actually cares. If you care about yourself and your future well being, then come to Aspect Fitness! More...

My wife suggested I try out the classes, and have now been with Aspect Fitness since June 2014. Now I do both classes and personal training with Justin. He's helped me with pain from a surgery/injury to my knee from 20 years ago. I no longer have to wear a knee brace and he helped me take up running. I have completed 6 half marathons in the last two years all thanks to Aspect Fitness. More...

Mark Smith you are completely right when you`re suggesting to do your research before selecting a trainer, what`s unfortunate is you obviously didn't do yours. I have trained with Aspect Fitness for over 2 years and have had far better results than multiple other trainers/facilities in this city. I have never had a trainer that has been more attentive, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and also someone who would call me out on the crap I was trying to pull. If you're not willing to hold yourself accountable, you're going to the wrong place. There is no sugarcoating and no BS here.Make sure the trainer you choose can walk the walk if they can talk the talk, and based off results you're heading in the right direction with Aspect Fitness. Been going since January 2016. Aspect Fitness has changed my life, from the Core Conditioning Class, to the Mobility Conditioning Class; my flexibility and overall body awareness has improved. The trainer and owner of the gym, Justin Bodnarchuk, has taken the time to correct my positioning and has given me the individual attention to help with my weak spots, even in a group setting. Aspect Fitness has even gone as far as a specialized meal plan to help accelerate my fitness/health goals. During my assessment, the trainer asked me what my fitness goals were, when I shared it he told me what to expect and where I would be in 6 months to a year. It has been 11months and I have dropped from a size 16 to a 14, and am now making my way to a sz 12, much sooner then I expected. I recommend Aspect Fitness to everyone, it's "for any body and everybody". Go see them you will not be disappointed! More...

I have been with Aspect fitness since March 2014. Prior to working with Justin I had chronic pain in my shoulder from working at a desk. I would see physiotherapists, massage therapists and chiropractors on a weekly basis and I would only ever achieve temporary relief. My physiotherapist recommended Justin, as she had another client with similar issues that he helped. After a few months with one on ones with him the pain was gone. I continue to do personal training with him, and for the past 2 years have been in his classes. His classes are amazing and for the most part his other clients are great to work out with. I've never been part of classes/gym that garners the type of client loyality that I've seen with Aspect Fitness, and I've been to dozens of gyms/bootcamps/personal trainers over the years. I've recommended him to family, friends and colleagues and many of them work out with him today. I can't recommend him enough, he's literally changed my life. I used to think working out was something to do if I had time. Now I've embraced it as a core part of my life. More...

I've been very happy with at Aspect Fitness, working 1-1 with Justin as well as participating in his bootcamps. Justin is genuinely interested in his client's progress, and has a broad base of knowledge upon which to support and give direction to your fitness goals. While other trainers provided me with general exercise plans and looked puzzled when I couldn't perform 'Y" exercise correctly (due to mobility issues that they had too limited an understanding of to correct), Justin will quickly pinpoint your weak areas and come up with corrective exercises (which he can and will modify if required) so that you will eventually be ABLE to perform "Y" exercise. For years various chiropractors said "wow, you're really stuck" about my thoracic area--with Justin's assistance, and more importantly, putting the work in, my thoracic mobility has improved enormously and is still getting better. While Justin makes no claim to be an expert outside of his scope of practice, after 2 years of working with him, and after having seen several GOOD physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists etc, I now skip the latter and just go see Justin. You'll have to put the work in, but if you're willing to put in the effort, you might just be able to FIX your problem, rather than just treat it. And if Justin feels a physio or chiro or doctor would better suit your needs, he'll be happy to refer you. Aspect Fitness isn't about into diving straight into deep water and pushing heavy weights because they know that's a good way to get hurt. Instead you'll start where you SHOULD be starting (probably solving a few mobility problems first) and move forward at a safe pace. People who consider themselves advanced fitness enthusiasts will likely find there are much more efficient, effective and safe ways to perform the exercises they are already doing, if they are able to put aside their ego and learn from someone who knows what they're doing.I highly recommend Justin at Aspect Fitness to anyone with the positive and open mindset necessary to true learning and progress.
