How long have you been in business?
I have been in the building trade since I left school at the age of 16. (I am currently 45)
I started work at R G Carter and completed a 4 year bricklaying apprentice and stayed with the company until I was 23 years old which is when I left and started working for myself.
What guarantee does your work come with?
The work that I do will depend on the guarantee, my company has a full liability insurance in place.
Most building work is generally over seen by local building control , all new door and window installations are Fensa registered
What do you love most about your job?
My job covers many different types of work and it is this variety that keeps up my enthusiasm. No two jobs are alike and the variety plus meeting new people adds to the things I like about it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had had enough of working for a large building firm (R G Carters) so left when I was 23 years old after completing my apprenticeship and training and a few extra years and went on my own. I am now 45 and still going.
