I have cancelled my décor with this supplier due to the pandemic. They initially informed me today that the deposit is non-refundable according to a written contract.
They unilaterally concluded a contract. I have NEVER seen the contract nor I have signed the written contract. No written contract was ever emailed to me until today when I requested for the terms.
I understand the law and CPA, but no contract was signed and she stated she will refund me when she gets to the office.
By law vis major should apply and I should be entitled to my deposit especially since there no written agreement or contract on cancellation. They then emailed me they would take 50% of my deposit and changed their minds again and reduced it. Had I been aware of the terms I would never have given any deposit. They then informed me that they will pay R 2000 when they can afford it. I paid immediately and I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICES AND FEEDBACK.
Nishi further stated that they will pay me when they get funds, this is concerning, if a company has not funds to operate.....

ASK Catering and Decor in collaboration with Casino Vegas Events provided exceptional, seamless service delivery.Their collective attention to detail ensured a stunning transformation of a school hall into a tastefully elegant and interactive Las Vegas gaming experience. We have received only showering praise for an epic 40th birthday party hosted for my husband and this is largely thanks to the team effort.My husband designed a detailed, entertaining program of events and ASK and CVE seamlessly fit into our programme.We being based in Johannesburg liaised with Nishi mainly over the phone and e-mail, which did not deter from providing to our needs to the T.A final in person meeting in Durban, the day before our function was sufficient to tie up final arrangements, align to our requirements and they collectively provided valuable guidance for a successful event.We were impressed by and appreciated their physical presence throughout the function, which assured an enjoyable experience by all.The food was delicious and the catering stuff were very helpful.The best decision was handing over complete control to Nishi and her team to co-ordinate the entire catering requirements.I appreciate how accomodating they were.Thank you for the exceptional service.I highly recommend them! My wedding was on 26 and 27 April 2019. I had only met Aunty Nishi in October 2018 and from that first meeting i felt assured that she understood how i wanted my wedding to look and feel like. I was living in Dubai and so alot of the planning and arrangements were done through email and whatsapp. And all my questions were always answered on time which gave comfort that my wedding decor and food were going to be in great hands.
