Very helpful and quick mortgage application time. I have spent about 2-3 months with Halifax and finally got declined after being charged with valuation fees. Halifax did not even tell me why they declined. I then found Ashleigh Mortgages in google, contacted them and got everything sorted within a month. I have now moved into my property. I have worked in Financial Services for over 25 years, I know what you are thinking he doesn't look old enough but it's true, more makeup please.
It is hard work but I still enjoy my role as a whole of market mortgage adviser as much today as the day I started 1998, every day is different and I get to meet and build lasting relationships with interesting people from all areas of the country, some of which have been with me since I started in my first year, I must be doing something right.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My first role as a financial representative was advising clients on investments, insurance and pensions, then after one of the many changes in the financial markets I moved on to be an area manager for another large organisation until my interest in property lead me to start my own mortgage brokerage in 1998.
Buying a house or remortgaging to carry out home improvements are really exciting times and seeing people achieve this is what makes the job all that more satisfying.
